It`s only a ten minute walk from the Centrale ( main train station ) which in itself is a place you should visit when in the city , this medium budget hotel , with clean , quiet , smalish rooms will appeal to the visitor on a budget . The metro station is also very close and from the Centrale... More

The Proximity to the station, the rooms are bit cramped, so is the shower, the Breakfast is a regular spread one can find better options for breakfast in walkable distance. We need to stay their for one big reason we had train to catch in the morning. their is peculiar scented smell in the room which I did not like,... More

Very friendly welcome, large elegant room, plenty of hanging space, sofa. Air-conditioning not adequate for heat of Milan. Close to Centrale station and metro. Breakfast room and reception area cool and attractively designed. Good breakfast. No restaurant but bistro nearby. We wanted to see Milan cathedral and the famous shopping galleries which were a short metro ride from the hotel.... More

Room 103 no airconditioning, unable to close window so get all street noise, shutters don't close properly, hard to lock door from inside plus moziquitos. The room is right above front. Door and you hear it open and close all night as it needs oiling. Never Again!

Old style hotel in a quiet but central area. Booked a smoker's room but didn't get it. If you are not looking for luxury or something special, it is ok. Pet friendly. Breakfast was based on quantity but not quality.

Once heading abroad we were forced by some problems on the railway lines to stop for one night in Milan. This hotel seemed to be a fair option in terms of price and proximity to the station. Price was fair and the room was still available. We paid 54 euros city taxes excluded for a one night stay. The room... More

Not a luxury hotel for sure, but comfortable, clean and conveniently located near the main train station (Milano Centrale). I stayed only for one night hence even if basic, it was more than good enough for me. If I had stayed longer, then there are three things that would have probably bothered me: internet was free but it didn't really... More

The worst thing is vas they even extra charge one night doposit and never give it bag, When i ask about it, they tell stories about misundestandings and finally they don´t ansver at all. This is unprofessional and worst... More

This hotel is basic but i think you get what you pay for. The room was small and nothing to shout about but we only used it to sleep there. I didn't have a problem with the staff, they printed out wifi codes everyday (free wifi - the code changed daily). Its a short walk from Central Station and across... More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
