Arrived at midnight but got a friendly welcome and a quick check in. Just put our bags in our rooms and went out to get a snack and have a drink. The hotel was close to a bunch of bars and restaurants with a walking distance. We came back to the hotel around 2 am and sat down in the... More

Stayed in a family room for three nights. Quite small but everything worked ok. Breakfast was good although it's a busy hotel. Great location walking distance from centre. Lots of restaurants & cafes nearby beware of the expense though Milan isn't cheap.

The room was very small and basic, it did have everything you need though - double bed, mini fridge, large window, television and a suitable bathroom. All were clean and working. Breakfast was good and provided a variety of foods such as scrambled eggs and bacon, fruit, cakes and cereals. There was no free WiFi and it was quite difficult... More

Stayed at this hotel with family for two nights the rooms were small and the hotel was over priced for what you got. Breakfast was average and the staff could not have cared less. We were very disappointed with hotel .

The bathroom had several mold issues (disgusting). When alerted to the issues and shown pictures the front desk just shrugged it off. Front desk service was generally not very friendly, not interested in helping with anything. Room was much smaller for what I thought we paid for (more than $220). Immediate neighborhood seemed a bit questionable but it is close... More

It is basic hotel walking distance from the Duomo and the metro station. Rooms are bright and well lit and clean, but a double bed we got was a bit small in area than usual. We then requested a change of room and thanks to the availability and service, we moved to a bigger and better room on the upper... More

The Idea Hotel Corso Genova is fairly smart looking on first sight, but it doesn't offer guests much beyond a room and a bed and everything is fairly low on luxury. The rooms are small, although I was lucky enough to have a slightly larger one which had a very nice bathroom - but I think this was supposed to... More

I've stayed here now for two separate weeks. Very annoying to say the least. The wifi is the biggest problem for me, it "just" works but only just. Less than 1 MB speed anywhere in building. I had to use cellular network on both stays at extra exspence on every night. I have never stayed in a hotel where I... More

Staying in Navigli

Neighborhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
