IBIS is fairly low frills and reasonably priced and it meets these expectations. I've had nicer breakfasts at other IBIS locations, but this one was fine. The location is good - about a 5-10 minute walk to the metro station. It's also connected to a Novotel hotel where there is a good restaurant. Staff were friendly and the hotel was... More

You need to take 2 metro lines ride for Duomo and proximity. If you have a car and don't mind small rooms, would be a very nice choice!!! A typical Ibis experience, Expo inflated the prices I believe believe.

We stayed on this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel offers a very nice breakfast with many choices and nice coffee. We asked for a Smoker's room, and they gave us a very small one, without a mini bar or a small fridge to keep or water bottles cold!!. Beware since the hotel sells a 500ml bottle of water for... The best way to prepare for BIS CA GRANDA is to imagine you have booked a youth hostel. That way you can remember to bring real towels, a glass, kettle, iron and board etc. If coming by car, you may like a fridge especially as there is no room service. Actually, a car would be useful because it is a... More

I stayed here whilst at a conference at Bicocca University - it's about 30 minutes walk or one tram stop. it was good value for money and to be honest the whole experience was better than expected. The room was spacious for an Ibis and thankfully had excellent air-conditioning, truly welcome in what at times was 39degree heat. bathroom functional,... More

The Ibis Ca’Granda is in the same modern block as the sister Novotel with the two hotel entrances adjacent. The two hotels form a small Accor Group precinct complete with a small but pleasant garden. There is an underground car park. For those using public transport, the Ca Granda metro station on the new line 5 (purple) is close by.... More

I stayed at the hotel during the Expo so hotel prices where very high in town, however I found an amazingly good rate through the Accor website. The hotel is the usual Ibis standard, rooms are not big but quiet, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is ok. Location is good, near the metro line 5 so you can reach the city... More

Well situated, close to Metro Purple line station Ca Granda, easy access to Town and expo area. Rooms are clean but noisy. Breakfast is boring and without proper choice. Good for stopover but nothing more.

During my business trip to Milan stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Rooms are ok. Have the necessary that one traveller needs. Staying in Bicocca

Neighborhood Profile
Bicocca
Although Bicocca is a peripheral district, many visitors will find it appealing. The district is enveloped by the immense Parco Nord (North Park), one of the largest parks in Europe. Inside is the theater Arcimboldi, one of the most important contemporary theaters where concerts and shows are organized. In the same area, there is the University of Milan Bicocca, whose distinct architecture rivals a movie set. Coffee shops, a multiplex and a shopping center are in the campus, along with the Fondazione Hangar Bicocca, one of the most famous museums of Contemporary Art.
