We recently stayed at this hotel for a 2 night weekend break to Milan. The hotel staff were most helpful and friendly in the booking process and organising a transfer from the airport and restaurant booking for us. The hotel itself is very nice with large rooms and nice bathrooms (with good toiletries, even toothbrush/toothpaste and razor/shave cream). The breakfasts... more

Last night of vaction in Italy, looking for a convienent place to get to the airport. We came in via train though the Central Station, transferred to the metro and exited at Garibaldi station and wlaked to the hotel. Probably would recommend a cab instead, probably less than 10 euro. We stayed in a king room - lots of space,... more

Rooms and baths were of a good size. Breakfast was far above expectations. Service was consistently good. Note that the hotel is on a busy street (during business days) and check your map to be aware that the hotel is a solid 15-20 minute walk from the touristic shopping streets. Taxi from the airport was about 70 Euros. more

Just returned from a 3 night stay here. They seem to have recently had new owners in the NH Group and there was a lot of work taking place to make the hotel more in line with their 'corporate' style. That said we had a lovely room which for a european city was very spacoius. Only downside was to get... more

We stayed in the Verdi recently looking for a good hotel near the Centre of Milan. The location was very good - about 15 minutes walk from the Centre but with plenty of restaurants more locally (and the cocktails in the bar across the road were excellent). Really good, spacious rooms which we could hang out in for an afternoon... more

The Grandest Hotel that we stayed in on our 3 week trip to Europe. This is close to the Gioia underground station. From there, walk straight down Via Melchiorre Gioia, and towards Reppublica. When at the hotel, the Garibaldi stop is slightly closer, but don't venture there with your bags, too many non-pedestrian roads to cross. The restaurant was closed... more

This is a very, very nice hotel on a busy street. It's not close to the Duomo like other hotels, but these are a short subway ride away. Our room was spacious, the amenities first rate, and the breakfast buffet was wonderful, a perfect way to start the day. There are restaurants in the area, along with wine bars and... more

The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious. There's a large LCD screen TV but no English programs or pay to view films. We stayed in August and travellers should be aware that although the centre of Milan is open , many smaller stores, restaurants and bars are closed. As is the diningroom at the hotel. We would have... more

Me and my fiance had returned from what we would call a fantastic experience. After a short flight from London Gatwick we were pleased to be met by a private taxi driver that we had pre booked with Citalia, he was very talkative and explained all the sights that we could visit while we were in Milan. When we arrived... more

Not in the old part of the city but within walking distance. Spacious, well-furnished rooms. more
