This is a very elegant hotel - it is an old building heavily renovated. The hotel rooms are larger than average European hotels (so a bit smaller than new modern hotels). The bathroom is too small for more than one person but very nicely fitted out. Bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. The free breakfast is excellent -... More

We stayed for two nights in this hotel. It is about a 20 minute walk down to the Duomo but it does mean you really get to grips with the city. Easily found from the train station and lots of restaurants around. It is close to shopping areas too. The room was quite small, but clean, tidy and perfect for... More

I stayed at the Felice Casati for three nights. I secured a great deal for around 90 EUR per night. For this price my expectations were not too high and were generally met. The staff is really friendly and tries hard. The location is good and the included breakfast is a plus. Paying a higher rate I would not choose... More

This was a lovely hotel. We stayed for 2 nights and found the service first class. The only downside was that our room was small but hey, you spend most of the time out anyway so no big issue. There's a great little courtyard for drinks (4 euro a beer which is good for Milan) and breakfadt is also first... More

We were given a room that had water leaking from the ceiling and air conditioning that didnt work (on a 100 degree day). Someone came to look and gave us a couple towels to put on the floor to collect the water from the leak and were told that the air con was working (it was blowing hot air). We... More

This was our 3rd time back in Milan, and could walk from/to Milano Centrale quite comfortably from the hotel. The surrounding area is good, numerous bars and restaurants, an excellent restaurant "Il Caminetto" just a few doors up. We booked a double king room for our 2 night stay, small room but adequate for our needs, clean and well maintained.... More

What a let down!!! Paid, booked for a superior room which never materialized despite numerous requests and complaints. Staff were evasive and rude about this, refusing to show me other rooms. My colleague was in a standard room and it was similar to mine. Rooms tiny, shower impossible to use as so small in a corner. Old. No view. Bar... More

My wife and I recently spent three full days in Milan. Although very unseasonably hot, even for Milan, we had a great time. The hotel was very nice and provided all the amenities one could hope for inside a city the size of Milan. The staff was extremely helpful all the time we were there. I would highly recommend the... I went there in Milan! It was great. They had little towels that were bricks and I put them in water to make them napkins. They always had candy and cookies for midnight snacks. There was a lovely lobby to sit down in after a hot day. There was a great night time staff member named Juliano. He was very... More

The hotel is just about 5 minutes by foot from the Pta. Venezia metro station (M1 line) and a hop on hop off bus stop no. 8 on the blue line. Nearby is a great Italian restaurant called Da Renzo e Lucia. Must try: seafood spaghetti (spaghetti allo scoglio). Check in was fast and the staff at reception very helpful.... More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
