Stayed at the yard in January 2016 and was lucky to have the boxing room! Amazing decoration to the smallest detail. The staff was very friendly and professional. I would recommend the yard hotel to everyone who loves the little details. I will definitely come back again and try another room :)

I couldnt say the word "hotel" in the title of this review because it is so much more. From the moment you walk in you know the experience is going to be different than any other hotel you've stayed in. The attention to detail & service are 2nd to none. Special shout outs to the lovely ladies who manage the... More

This is genuine boutique hotel. At first we were a little overwhelmed by the decor but the staff are so obliging and friendly and our room spacious, comfortable and quiet, we feel sure we will return. Enjoyed the breakfast. Found the bar expensive but that was our only complaint. Loved resident dog Pina. Fabulous location with lots of good restaurants... More

From the beginning to the End this hotel surprised me with its kindness towards his own establishment and customer. My MAMEX was blocked due to too high level of shopping (hey Milano) and could only be unblocked on Monday after departure... No problem, they told me to fill out a deptpaper and trusted me to just transfer the money on... More

We stayed for a night, and this hotel is definitely different than other hotels. Someone has been really busy finding all the furniture and other decoration, it's quite amazing. I liked the style, it's a nice homey atmosphere. Staff is very friendly, and the bar / lounge area is very nice to sit, relax and have a drink. I personally... More

Smaller boutique hotel with lots of character. The hotel has a great location, quirky interior and loads of character. The rooms were comfortable and themed. The breakfast was communal sitting around a single table with other guests but this actually worked fine as the service was attentive. Overall, great service and the staff went out of their way to help.... More

Travel a ton annually and this is one of my favorite places in the world. Always feels like home. Owners are involved in the business daily and staff is awesome. Close to Navigli so there are plenty of really good restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are decorated perfectly and have "mini splits" in them which is a bonus when it... More

Staying in Navigli

Neighborhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
