This hotel is a converted monastery right next to the Basilica that houses Leonardo's Last Supper. My room was quite dark, and the shower didn't drain properly. That said, everything else was charming. The staff were delightful, and could speak English well enough. It felt homely rather than corporate. Breakfast was self service and delicious, coffee was freshly made on... More

Had high hopes after paying a higher than usual price for a room in a place that looked great and was in a great location. First sign that this wasn't going to live up to expectation was when greeted by a grumpy man in his late 60's at a guess at reception. Get to room and it is split into... More

The rooms, like most in Italian hotels, are small but comfortable. Internet was good and breakfast more than adequate. Walking distance to North Station. Meeting rooms were well done and equipped. Staff at desk was helpful.

Italians are lovely people in individual interactions -- charming, polite and often cultured. But collectively, Italian institutions do not function at their best potential. The grandly named "Palazzo Delle Stelline" is neither a palazzo, nor is it stellar. Rather, it is a somewhat spartan local-government-run facility (with worn carpets, rooms with 30 year old furniture, the internet only working intermittently)... More

Rooms are minimal and spartan. WIFI did not work unless you went to the hotel "lobby". Good location. I suppose it is interesting staying in an old convent but also pretty dull.Generally, my experience was good. Just 5min walk from Cadrna station which is connected to airport by Malpensa express within 30min - difficult for business given limited facilities, no... More

Elegant, quiet and tastefully decorated. The hotel is located in the city center in one of the most elegant and peaceful parts of the city, opposite the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, where there is the masterpiece of Leonardo da Vinci. The staff is very professional and friendly and the (Italian) breakfast is very good. I highly recommend this... More

My stay was very pleasant - the neighborhood is one of the best in Milano to me. The hotel is elegant, the staff is professional, breakfast was served in a beautiful large room with big modern windows. Cappuccino perfetto ( I am from Milan). Needless to say, the magnificent church Santa Maria delle Grazie is right in front of the... More

Generally, my experience was good. Just 5min walk from Cadrna station which is connected to airport by Malpensa express within 30min, it is very convenient location. Moreover, in front of the hotel is St. Maria dell Grazie which is famous for Leonard Davinci's the Last Supper. Interestingly the hotel is a part of a building surrounding a beautiful courtyard and... More

The building is magnificent, built as a monastery in the early 17th century, with large halls, spacious courtyards and gardens. Thereafter, it served as an orphanage (le stelline, small stars). The rooms are spartan, with limited lighting (in my case, two light bulbs were gone) and the bathrooms certainly do need refurbishing. May be the point is to remind visitors... More

Our family (2 adults + 2 small children) stayed there for 2 nights in early July 2014. We found a good rate on Expedia - $133/night for a suite with 2 queen beds in enormous rooms, a dining/sitting area, and a bathroom. Breakfast buffet was also included. The hotel is perfectly located if you want to see Leonardo da Vinci's... More
