The Hotel Palazzo delle Stelline is what is sounds like: a hotel in a converted (modernized) palazzo. It is across the street from Leonardo's "The Last Supper" but be warned that you'll need tickets weeks or months in advance to see the painting. The hotel is on a busy road (but no road noise in the hotel itself) that is... More

I had wonderful opportunity to be during WDS 2015 (june 11-13) at Hotel Palazzo Della Stelline. Beautiful place, middle of old city. Only 10 minutes walk to Duomo or castello Sforza, less than 5 minutes to subway. Very nice and pleasant service. You can commicate freely an english. Breakfast very nice with fresh coffee, pancakes and pastry. You can have... More

The location of this hotel is excellent for seeing the major tourist sights of Milan: it is an easy walk to the Castle and right next to Santa Maria delle Grazie (worth visiting on its own account) and Leonardo's last supper, while being located on a relatively a quiet street. The Duomo was a bit further but still an easy... More

Very good value. Good breakfast. Small but adequate room, nice bathroom. Asked for and got a quiet room. Helpful desk. Three blocks to express train to airport. It was a long weekend (labor day) everything closed in Italy. Even the restaurant in the hotel. Desk helped us find a nice restaurant. Few restaurants in the area.

I'll just jot down a few words. I've been staying at the Hotel in the cloister of the Palazzo delle Stelline almost every time I've been in Milan. I know the area well, I used to live nearby. I'm always very pleasantly surprised at this hotel, and it will always remain my prime choise in the future.

This hotel is a converted monastery right next to the Basilica that houses Leonardo's Last Supper. My room was quite dark, and the shower didn't drain properly. That said, everything else was charming. The staff were delightful, and could speak English well enough. It felt homely rather than corporate. Breakfast was self service and delicious, coffee was freshly made on... More

Had high hopes after paying a higher than usual price for a room in a place that looked great and was in a great location. First sign that this wasn't going to live up to expectation was when greeted by a grumpy man in his late 60's at a guess at reception. Get to room and it is split into... More

The rooms, like most in Italian hotels, are small but comfortable. Internet was good and breakfast more than adequate. Walking distance to North Station. Meeting rooms were well done and equipped. Staff at desk was helpful.

Italians are lovely people in individual interactions -- charming, polite and often cultured. But collectively, Italian institutions do not function at their best potential. The grandly named "Palazzo Delle Stelline" is neither a palazzo, nor is it stellar. Rather, it is a somewhat spartan local-government-run facility (with worn carpets, rooms with 30 year old furniture, the internet only working intermittently)... More

Rooms are minimal and spartan. WIFI did not work unless you went to the hotel "lobby". Good location. I suppose it is interesting staying in an old convent but also pretty dull.Generally, my experience was good. Just 5min walk from Cadrna station which is connected to airport by Malpensa express within 30min - difficult for business given limited facilities, no... More
