The rooms are quite big compared to other hotels in Europe. Staff seem friendly. Probably my only complaint is the room is too warm even when I turn the heat down. But that seems to be a problem everywhere

the hotel was very close to the central train station of Milan and to Republica metro station (the yellow line), so it was supper easy to transfer to and from the hotel to the city center, it was also very close to the tram station which could easily connect you to city center and main shopping streets like the area... After a very poor 4* hotel in Madrid the previous two nights, I was more than happy when I checked in at the Marconi. Check in was fast and friendly even after midnight. The room is well appointed and spacious with a well stocked minibar, large shower room with a rain shower and an Internet enabled TV with plenty of... More

The hotel is well located; close to the centraal station and the underground. The staff is friendly and helpful. The public area's were clean and neat. As well as the room was clean and was actually quite big for a standard room. The breakfast room isnt too big but is cozy and has a sufficiënt selection of cut meats, cheese,... More

The hotel is walking distance, about 10 mins, to Milan Central Station. It's a bit far from the tourist attractions, You need to ride the tram or metro to get to the Duomo for restaurants & shops. The neighborhood doesn't feel that safe at night. The rooms are clean, high ceilings, a bit small which is typical in Europe. The... More

- they gave us another room (cheaper) than we booked; they changed only after we clearly asked for this and we insist on this - my girlfriend arrived before me and nobody help her to carry her luggage to the room - the rooms are very small, ugly, with old furniture, there is a smell from the canalization in all... We choose this hotel because it was close to the Central train station and within walking distance of the Duomo area and Hertz car rental. Hotel was clean and well maintained with an old fashioned atmosphere. No A/C even though it was quite warm out. Open window let in a nice breeze but the street was very noisy with traffic... More

Our reservations were made by another company for a textile show in November 2015, for a 15 night stay. Upon our arrival everything seem to be in order. When entering the room, the smell of some sort of stinking room freshener hit you like a ton of bricks, the rooms had no air conditioning because it was in the fall... More

Great hotel, good service. Our room was very clean and quiet, 100 % comfortable and breakfast was excellent! The whole structure is very classy and well maintained. Very spacious lobby. I highly reccommend it.

The bathroom was lovely, with only a shower. We stayed in room 102, quite close to the city traffic, overlooking a grey roof. Wifi was absolutely OK. Breakfast was GREAT. Hotel receptionist (a youngish man) was a real source of info, a very helpful one. We were quite close to Centrale railway station and a park behind the shopping area.

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
