So great we stayed here twice. My brother and I came to Milan for a buddy's wedding and had time to travel and bit. On my first stay there in the beginning of the trip I was greeted by Jacoppo the manager. Had no reservations and arrived at 23:00. Gave us a very fair price knowing we didn't really have... More

The shower had mold growing in the ceiling above it. Room was on the street so was noisy at night. Room furnishing was mediocre. Overall the room and stay was not worth the price. One highlight of the hotel is the location however within easy walking distance of many of the popular sights of Milan.

Room very nice: good desk to work at, air con, doors out onto internal courtyard, and very quiet at night. Slept like a log. Staff very friendly. Central location Next time in Milan, this is the one for me. It's a straightforward family hotel: no frills, but wonderful at getting the basics right

Like in the wonderful movie of the early 2000, Goodbye Lenin, you feel ashes back to the (CCCP) 70ies, the moment you pass the door. Old furniture, low lights, poor breakfast, grey reception service. In one word: depressing. Wifi works well.

Reasonable price in a very good central location for sightseeing, shopping, dining. Good breakfast to start the day. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff - especially regarding EXPO, Airport and Exhibition options and public transport to/from the above. Big hotel service in a friendly, almost family environment.

Nice and central location. Polite and helpful personnel. Room and halls are ok. Convenient bicycle parking rack in front of the hotel. Useful and amazing to visit the city or to commute to business appointment (if it's not raining, of course). I can recommend this hot that is good value for money.

Location is excellent. Tram stops just outside. Metro station 500m away. Great street for shopping and eateries all lined up. Hotel not worth 4 star. Nice small cosy place to be in. But not luxuriuos enough to be a 4 star.

Easy walk to the duomo or to the navigli and darsena and friendly staff, but a fairly dated hotel (that 70s style, tiny elevator, carpet, ...). It doesn't feel like a four star hotel, but they did offer a good price for the stay...

Not worth 4 stars hotel , is one or two stars a maximum. The room is very small and very fetid stink . The A.C not working well besides higher noise really you can't sleep in the room .....................................

Very friendly hotel close to the Duomo with reasonable prices. Only slight issue is the street noise and in particular the rumble of trams on the nearby lines (and they seem to run throughout much of the night!).

Staying in Navigli

Neighborhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
