Super simple room yet still nice and clean/ nice size. Metro right down the street, easy location to get around the city to tourist locations and train station ( 5 mins drive about 8 Euro). Great for people on the go to see Milan!

We were in Milan for a birthday celebration and needed to be centrally located. This was spot on! The staff at reception were friendly, helpful and spoke good English. Our room was on the 4th floor and was smaller than our usual type but had a comfortable bed, shower room and toiletries. It was clean and well maintained. Breakfast on... More

The hotel is a bit dated and rough around the edges but overall pleasant and comfortable. The breakfast is quite filling and of good quality. The staff are super friendly and very welcoming. Overall a pleasant stay, comfortable although the rooms are a little small. I would recommend if looking for good value for money.

Milan was my very first Italian city I have visited and I hope that the other cities are better, in terms of service. The first impression that I received by this hotel was that their only interest is to book you into your room and get you out of the way and check you out at the end. After this... More

We stayed here for 2 nights during the 3rd week of our europe trip and I am glad at the size of the room since all of the rooms we have booked are small. This time, we had an ample space which we do not have any problems opening up our luggage wide open and not worrying how to move... More

Bed bug traps everywhere. Curtains stained and unable to close. Threadbare bathroom linen. Cracked tiling and ceramics. Mould growing all round the bath. A tired old hotel with a ridiculous 4 star rating.

We stayed at the Hotel City for two nights following a visit to Lake Maggiorre. We arrived early, however our room was ready situated on the seventh and top floor of the hotel with a balcony and looking out over the city of Milan. The hotel was ideally placed for getting around - the "blue line" city sightseeing bus was... More

We spent two nights at Hotel City and were very pleased. The rooms were updated and very nice and clean. The people at the front desk were helpful with directions and restaurant reservations. The breakfast was huge and very good! I would highly recommend this hotel.
