The Starhotel Anderson exceeded all expectations and was a very plesant surprise after a string of very disappointing hotels in other Greek and Italian cities. The bed was wonderful complete with pillow menus. more

Stayed one night en route from Milan to Genoa to embark on cruise. Across the street and piazza from Centrale Stazione. Entrance is downstairs, though bellhop appears out of nowhere to assist with luggage. Small, clean room with exceptionally comfortable beds and modern bathroom. If you want a hotel close to the train station (3mins walk) that is good value then this is it. Get the hop-on, hop-off bus and you are on the way to town/sightseeing (20 euro for 24 hour). I don't have any particular complain about this hotel. It's recently remodelled with a modern design and rooms are nice even if with quite basic decoration.
