We visited in July during an unusually hot spell. Room was comfortable and clean. The room was typically small according to US standards. We only ate at the complimentary breakfast buffet, which was one of the better ones we encountered in Italy. The fitness room was a bit of a joke, but it didn't really distract from our stay. At... We stayed here for one night and it was a nice hotel, though nothing out of the ordinary. The breakfast was extensive though not particularly great, very crowded breakfast room. The staff were friendly and helpful. My sofa bed wasn't very comfortable, but hey, it's a sofa bed. Their restaurant, Le Volte, seemed a little iffy as we couldn't find... More

The hotel could not be better situated, just off the Duomo Square. A really good 4 Star hotel with little extras, bathrobes, slippers. The room was a good size and the bathroom well equipped. The breakfast was also very good, you could certainly fill yourself up for the day if you wanted to. Freshly squeezed orange juice was an added... More

I stayed here for seven nights. The hotel is basic but clean and well appointed. I found the staff to be helpful, friendly and always respectful of the "do not disturb" sign. When I needed housekeeping, they were very prompt, and even met a special request. The breakfast is fine, but not special and -- after 7 days -- a... More

I stayed here for a week on business. The rooms were okay although a bit dated. Good breakfast with plenty of options both hot and cold. Hotel is located opposite a strip club - which could be good if that's what you're looking for.

No frills hotel situated about 5 minutes short walk from Duomo. As a first time visitor to Milan it was conveniently situated & easy to get to using train from Milan airport. Room was clean, not particularly modern and satellite TV did not work. Staff were welcoming and friendly. A good hotel and would return and use again.

Good basic hotel. Old fashion rooms. Location is very good, near by Duomo. Breakfast very good, orange juice made for fresh orange. Rooms at outside fasade are little bit noisy for traffic, maybe inside yard is better. Rooms are big.

Great location near the Duomo but looks very tired from outside. However, what matters in Milan in the summer heat is good Air Conditioning combined with good sound insulation to outside. This hotel delivers on comfort with clean good sized rooms, functional Internet and decent service. Very good breakfast with more choice than would be expected in Italy.

We stayed there one night only but we are going back! The hotel is good value for money, the room was very cosy the hotel scores an extra point for allowing our small dog in the breakfast restaurant. This is still hard to find.

A very well located hotel in the heart of Milan. You can easily walk to Duomo from the hotel and the area looks quite safe. The hotel with the reception and elevators look a bit old but the room (219) was very nice with a modern bathroom and it was very quiet even though looking to the street. Perfectly clean..... More

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
