No frills hotel situated about 5 minutes short walk from Duomo. As a first time visitor to Milan it was conveniently situated & easy to get to using train from Milan airport. Room was clean, not particularly modern and satellite TV did not work. Staff were welcoming and friendly. A good hotel and would return and use again.

Good basic hotel. Old fashion rooms. Location is very good, near by Duomo. Breakfast very good, orange juice made for fresh orange. Rooms at outside fasade are little bit noisy for traffic, maybe inside yard is better. Rooms are big.

Great location near the Duomo but looks very tired from outside. However, what matters in Milan in the summer heat is good Air Conditioning combined with good sound insulation to outside. This hotel delivers on comfort with clean good sized rooms, functional Internet and decent service. Very good breakfast with more choice than would be expected in Italy.

We stayed there one night only but we are going back! The hotel is good value for money, the room was very cosy the hotel scores an extra point for allowing our small dog in the breakfast restaurant. This is still hard to find.

A very well located hotel in the heart of Milan. You can easily walk to Duomo from the hotel and the area looks quite safe. The hotel with the reception and elevators look a bit old but the room (219) was very nice with a modern bathroom and it was very quiet even though looking to the street. Perfectly clean..... More

Great location close to the duomo. Good sized room with space for his and her luggages. Breakfast was decent with a variety of western and local choices. Decor is from the 80s Italian style. Importantly, room well insulated from other rooms.

Older , well-maintained and up-dated hotel (?70's). Centrally located . Short distance to a grand piazza with a high-end department stores, restaurants, and the Duomo. The hotel itself is clean, and all the amenities of business needs. The breakfast room is plain but has everything from a continental breakfast to fried eggs and bacon. Coffee is excellent , freshly squeezed orange... More

Hotel Brunelleschi was the final hotel we stayed in Italy and we definitely saved the best for last. Our room was huge, luminous, classically decorated and very very quiet. The bathroom was above average and the pressure from the shower was super. The breakfast was easily the best we have had in Italy with a huge choice of anything you... More

Too expensive for a old hotel, small room with single bed behind a wall. Very near Duomo is the only reason to pay 300€ for one night with breakfast. Very near metro direct to Fiera di Milano. Breakfast was ok, but I think they need a renovation of all services.

this hotel is reasonably close to the duomo so from a location standpoint its pretty decent. otherwise standard city hotel with small rooms which have average amenities. at the time, it seemed like a good deal given the high prices prevalent

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
