The hotel was a perfect experience from start to finish. The reception was polite and helpful and gave us a free upgrade without asking. The gave us maps and answered any questions. The location could not be better and the room was VERY spacious and immaculately clean. more

Really good hotel for location. Rooms clean. Be aware though that they are all smoking rooms - but freshened for non-smokers. We noticed the ashtrays in our room but didn't noticed any smoke smell. Breakfast was great. Note. It took us five minutes to attempt to close the curtains - until realising that it was all done by a remote... more

The hotel was just what we were looking for. Perfect location just south of Duomo square. Very spacious room for a European hotel that well accomodated us and our 21-year old daughter for 4 nights without us continually tripping over each other. Room was well laid out to accomodate luggage, etc. without feeling cramped. Bathrooms were actually rather elegant and... more

Excellent location. Found the staff polite and friendly (speaking a few words in italian goes a long way!). The hotel was on the wrong side of art deco, but we liked it. Oh and the shower was superb! 'But' and there was a big but! The rooms were very loud (well the 2 we stayed in), you could hear the... more

This is a terrible place.... please avoid.... do not give them any business as they do not deserve it. The staff were rude, unhelpful and disrespectful. We asked for a non-smoking room. They said that they didn't have specific non-smoking rooms (although they claim they do on every travel website you can find). The room smelt of smoke. We asked... more

Just back from 3 nights and had a mixed experience. The hotel location is good for tourists ...near the Duomo / Scala / Metro. We asked for a non smoking room , on a high floor , recently reconditioned ( as advised elsewhere on the forum). We got a tidy room number 904 ( cant get higher but only roof... more

I booked this hotel for a short vacation because its excellent location, five minutes away from Duomo. Critics were severe on the service, but I have to say that the some of the personnel was more than friendly. On the check out process my Visa was denied because it exceeded the daily limit and I hadn't kept any cash. The... more

Two rules for booking a hotel when travelling on business: clean room with comfortable bed and service. Unfortunately this hotel lacked both. Having arrived late at night I was ushered to my room which looked like it was timewarped. The air con was noisy, street noise was even louder and the room had obviously just hosted a poker night as... more

Lovely hotel, booked a twin room for a mums weekend away. Cheekily asked if their was any chance of an upgrade and was offered two rooms at no extra charge! Lovely rooms, beautiful hotel. Apart from the Duomo, and the designer clad shops around it, not that much to see or do, which surprised me. Take a taxi and ask... more
