Just returned from Milan, Jolly President Hotel. Dirty, smelly, terrible bathrooms, air conditioning not working properly... Awful experience. Definitelly not what you expect from a 4 stars hotel. Decent breakfast. Excellent location. I don't recommend it to anyone. more

I had planned this trip to take advantage of a cheap flight and was trying to keep hotel costs to a minumum, given that we required 2 rooms. this will be our 2nd stay in this hotel. the first 1 was in winter 07. we were 3 in a room. the 1st room they gave us the aircon was not cold enough, they upgraded us to a 1 bedroom suite.which felt cool to us at the time, when the sun was hiting the room, the temp was uncomfortable.... more

Since the Jolly has become an NH hotel it has been bought into the 21st Century, and those that have stayed in an NH will know the rooms very well. Make sure you book a room in the renovated wing, as I heard the older rooms aren't up to scratch. The rooms are very good value at around EUR 120 a double, including breakfast.
