Good value. Rooms were smallish, but not a surprise. Staff was supportive. Breakfast was quite good. Not the most exciting neighborhood, but walkable to all the hot spots. It took us about an hour to leisurely stroll to the Duomo. Overall, a pleasant stay.

I originally booked this hotel for it's proximity to the soccer stadium, as my original plan was to attend a match. However, plans changed...and the hotel isn't really located near anything else special. However, it was reasonably priced (I think we paid less than $100 USD). We only stayed one night, and the small downtown area nearby was fun for... More

Unnerving location - it was not a pleasant walk from the train station to the hotel, especially for a family. The neighborhood made me want to turn and run, but once we found it, we were greeted by a beautiful interior - lobby and rooms, friendly staff. The decor is reminiscent of original design, made us feel very "fancy". The... More

We stayed here for 4 nights, having looked at the reviews online we were looking forward to it. The hotel itself was clean and tidy, the rooms were very very small and dark, only a few lamps in the room, had to keep the shutter up to get any light in. The staff were not very helpful the main guy... More

This beautiful hotel was built in 1900. It is very well kept up as a lot of it is original. It's away from the downtown, but only one block away from the free trolley that goes to several different locations around the city. A grocery store was just 2 blocks away. Parking was close by and free. Continental breakfast was... More

We stayed here one night on the way home from a ski holiday. It is a lovely hotel with unique rooms. It is a bit out of town but the trams just round the corner will take you to the Duomo in 20 minutes. We had a room that was split over two levels with a double bed on the... More

Very disappointed having read very good reviews for this hotel. Room was uncomfortably hot and left us exhausted having had so little sleep in the sauna of a room. I literally had to place a cool wet towel on my brow all night! Staff were reasonable but by no means welcoming. Breakfast was fine. Location is out of town but... More

Really enjoyed our stay here. The staff spoke really good English, and I think they appreciated my piffling attempts to speak Italian. They were always on hand to order a taxi, and to greet us on our return from a trip into the city or otherwise. The food was great and plentiful at breakfast...cant say anything else but that. The... I can't tell you how much I loved this hotel. It is a beautiful historic building with charm and character at every turn right down to the room key! The room was amazing with two balconies overlooking the street below. The front desk staff was the most friendly accommodating group I've met in a long time. I can't thank them... More

The bed was so old it had bumps on it. The wifi did not work anywhere. The breakfast was prepared with the worst quality of food possible. Our room was right above the door entrance and everytime some walked in we woke up because of the noise of the door. The showers are horrible, too old to be still up.... More
