This hotel is ideal for exploring Milan thanks to its closeness to the main Railway Station, metro, bus and tramways lines. Apart from that, the hotel would need a refurbishment. On the positive side: spacious and quite room; On the negative side: centrally controlled air con (so you have to take it as it flows - I actually slept with... More

We had to find a hotel so badly and booked into this hotel. The good thing about this hotel is that, it is close to the Railway station. But it does not signify. That staff is not that inspiring and hard to get a smile from them. The switch off the air con in the middle of the night when... More

Air condtioned centralized and bot working. Dirtky . No power outlets for electronics. No WiFi in the room. Shower that do not work . Breakfast that is tasteless. Rude at the check in. I will never take one more room. I had the worse night of sleep.

I wouldn't recomend this hotel in milan, people in the hotel are really rude, there is no air conditioner, the wifi only works on the lobby, the rooms smell really bad, and the breakfats was soo bad we had to go out and grab some food in a restaurant next to the hotel. The city tax was more expensive than... More

Don't be fooled by the lovely wee entrance and beautifully air conditioned foyer. We stayed just the one night and two rooms. At first inspection it seemed great, then we went to our room and found that the air con wasn't running, we asked the reception to check and wow what an inconvirence that was, the man at reception banged... Rooms very basic and quite old but clean. Bathroom looked fairly new and was quite good. Lock on the door was just a key lock and didn't seem overly secure. The location is brilliant - right near the metro and close to Milan Cathedral and the Galleries. Restaurants on same and adjoining streets. The continental breakfast was ok for a... More

we stayed in this hotel for two nights between 21-23rd of May 2015. The hotel could be missed - though very close to the Milano station- just 5 minutes on the left of the road. We were greeted by the receptionist who was business like and curt. his first concern was taking the hotel tax of euro 4 per head... More

Very poor quality for 100 EUR/person/night. Terrbile breakfast (no fruits, no vegetables, just sweet rolls, yoghurts and eggs-and never on time), one coffee in price included any other coffee costs 3 EUR! The room itself very poor quality (AC was working (if it was working...) only after 23:00 o'clock. The hotel manager was very rude and not willing to accept... More

I stayed here with my Mum over a weekend in May and was very disappointed with the hotel. 1. The airco in our room was turned off because 'the weather is too hot..' It was +30 degrees in our hotelroom and only one window to open to get any air in. Might be different in other rooms but because of... More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
