Located in the heart of the city, so TG for SatNav, but no issues with driving to the door. Ideal for walking around the City center. Good sized rooms with AirCon. didn't see the Bar (closed at 11pm) Breakfast ok by continental standards, (I miss the Irish Breakie) Overall Good Vlaue

Easy to get to from the airport (bus and metro). Metro at end of road from hotel, so travel around Milan very easy. Great breakfast. Value for money. Fab Sushi bar next door too (if you fancy a change from Italian food when in Italy for several weeks).

Quite adequate. We were only in Milan for one night as a jumping off point to tour Italy. Room was clean with no frills. A/C worked well. The attendant at the desk was a bit snippy upon arrival, but this would not be a deterrent. Breakfast was quite decent.

Stayed here for one night and enjoyed our stay. Room was clean, air conditioned and of adequate size with twin beds and balcony- though balcony too small and hot to use! Hotel in safe area , next to Moscova metro stop- 3 stops from Milan centrale but still close to nightlife of bars and plenty of Gelaterias! Staff friendly, efficient... More

The location is absolutely incredible I can't emphasize that enough. The rooms themselves are ok. They are clean but they are nothing special. That said if your staying at this hotel and spending all your time in the room you're out of your mind. The shopping and resturants in this area are excellent and all easily walkable. Plus public transit... More

At late arrivel the airconditioning didn't work (roomtemperatur (RT) >35°C), so we called for help. The conditioning needed time to get going, they said, so we went to sleep. It didn't really work. We complained and asked them to fix it. At the second night we arrived after 2am, and the room war approx. 40°C. The conditioning only blew even... More

My husband and I started here as the first city we visited on our multi-city tour of Italy. Hotel Ritter was in the ideal location for us. We enjoyed several restaurants in the area. The breakfast was very good with a good variety of choices. If we ever get back to Milan again we would definitely stay at Hotel Ritter!

A very good hotel in Moscova district. Close to Metro station, bars, restaurants, bakery, all within reach. The Hotel was very good, the room was spotless with a fridge and air-condition (a paradise after walking in 40c' burning city). A very good breakfast, a very polite(english speaking) staff, who made you feel at home. Thank you Ritter from sunny Greece.....we... More

Hotel location was very good and close to metro station and many restaurants and bars. Rooms were clean but there was some problems with water temperature. Breakfast was relatively good, nothing special, scrambled eggs was lacking egg white, so it was a bit strange. Hotel staff was polite but not very friendly.

We stayed one night in the hotel. The receptionist was very helpful and also gave us full information of what to see in one day. The hotel is in a prime location and a 2 minute walk from the metro station. A big room with ensuite and toiletries. Would highly recommend.

Staying in Brera

Neighborhood Profile
Brera
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
