This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. Far from cheap but the location is superb and because it is not enormous it manages to preserve a level of service that feels sincere and of top quality. All staff are super friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back.....

My husband and I spent 2 nights at Spadari ahead of going on to Stressa and Bellagio and can highly recommend it. The location is unbeatable, literally round the corner from the Duomo and beautiful shopping Galleria, and the hotel itself, whilst modern in style and not the lovely old palazzo type, is very well kept, clean and with very... It's a good hotel, clean and pleasant. The location cannot be beaten, it is seconds away from the heart of Milan. The staff is excellent, and they serve probably the best breakfast I've eaten in Europe, five-stars included. My omelette was perfect. The only negative was the shower stall was far too small, and the hand shower in the tub... More

Great hotel. Their greatest asset is the front desk staff, who are helpful, courteous, and cheerful. Location is close to tourist sites and to public transportation. Rooms are well equipped...showers have plenty of hot water, plenty of water pressure, great linens (big in size and number and absorbency), and there is free water from mini bar. Other pluses: great ac..especially... More

Our stay was super. The hotel has a great location near Duomo. Staff is terrific - genuinely helpful. Rooms very clean and nicely done. Breakfast was excellent. My only negative comment is that it is too expensive for a family of 4. We had to reserve two rooms. For that reason, I only booked one night. Otherwise, I would have... More

The very friendly and helpful staff helped us with everything we needed. It is perfectly located, the city center is located just outside the door. It is a small boutique hotel without gym but the staff helped us find a gym just around the corner. Breakfast is great, servedin a small and cosy environment. Would recommend everyone to stay here.

This is an excellent hotel in Milan. The concierge staff are very nice and speak English well. The rooms are well-appointed and spacious. You have a great view of the city streets. The slippers that they provide are fluffy and make you feel like you are having a spa-like experience. The location is great - close to the Duomo, the... More

Had a great time at the Hotel Spadari. The staff are all exceptional. They are friendly and extremely accommodating. The room was on the first floor and overlooked the trams which weren't an issue as the sound was very faint. The room was adequate in size. I believe that one should ask for a room overlooking the Doumo. We did... More

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
