I realize that the hotel is old and that in itself should present some character and charm,however the rooms need some updating and the rug could use a good cleaning. Staff was fine, location just so-so with everything a subway away.The garden lounge seems to be the biggest draw. more

This hotel has had one of the most relaxing beds / mattresses I've slept on. It has nice comfortable rooms, what typically expected in a four-star european hotel. Stayed here with 2 other friends during june. struggled with luggage on arrival, getting to the room and on departure. no one offered to help or even to open a door. the elevators off the reception/lobby area are up a few steps and difficult to negotiate if you have luggage. the bar was very hip as discussed in previous reviews.... more
