First of all, the location: perfect, few steps away from Piazza Duomo and from Castello Sforzesco. Parking ( with fee ) is very close to the hotel. Rooms are design ones, with top furniture from italian designer, fashion solutions for details and warm atmosphere. Nice breakfast, not huge but high class ones with a lot of BIO products and fresh... More

I stayed at the Palazzo for a quick business trip! It was the true Milan experience! The staff was amazing and willing to help. You felt appreciated for your business rather than just being another room number. I would recommend this location to anyone I knew traveling to Milano. The rooms feel like you are at home and are very... More

This hotel has a great situation: I'm a quiet street near duomo, surrounded by shops, 10 minutes away from the premium shops, and the service is amazing: Luca, Sergio, ... They are all very helpful! The rooms are very modern, spacious ! Do not miss this place!

This hotel has beautifully decorated rooms, and the entrance is impressive. However from the moment you get in touch with the receptionist, things fade away. My reception was a bit chaotic, I had to wait, was interrupted several times, and not knowing on what floor the room 18 was, I stopped at all floors, with 3 pieces of luggage, and... More

Not very far from Duomo. nice little hotel and clean. Breakfast was simple and served just by the entrance. Not very sexy!! Room is a good size for few nights stay. Good enough bed and simple shower. There were no desk / table to work on!! Clean room but little basic for what you pay for. It is over priced... More

The positive first: the staff are very friendly and helpful. And that's about it. The hotel is very drab around the edges, It needs some love and care and repair. The room I am in (nr 14) had very little going for It. I'm typing this in almost dark as the desk has no light and no electricity socket for... More

Perfectly located, a stone's throw away from Via Dante, it is an old style Palazzo totally renovated and modernized. The style is very industrial, lofty chic. The receptionist, a great guy whose name I cannot recall was very helpful in tipping us about restaurants and even connecting us to a great event promoter in Milan who granted us access to... More

Great location. Very close to the Duomo and shopping area. Also convenient when using public transportation. Great service, including decent breakfast. Although a bit too dark, rooms are spacious and comfortable. Don't blink or you will miss the entrance to the building!

The staff was very friendly in this minimalist/recovered old building hotel. Each large bedroom is different from the next one with a design touch on the decoration where every detail counts. It seems like you're staying in a friends house with a very good breakfast. The bar was a little bit short on drinks.

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
