Great location. Very close to the Duomo and shopping area. Also convenient when using public transportation. Great service, including decent breakfast. Although a bit too dark, rooms are spacious and comfortable. Don't blink or you will miss the entrance to the building!

The staff was very friendly in this minimalist/recovered old building hotel. Each large bedroom is different from the next one with a design touch on the decoration where every detail counts. It seems like you're staying in a friends house with a very good breakfast. The bar was a little bit short on drinks.

Had it not been for the lack of Wi-Fi in our room and the noise from outside the hotel as well as the corridors, it would have been a wonderful hotel.... It is a very nice, beautifully decorated and perfectly situated hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious and modern. Breakfast was nice, with variety, lovely baked goods and fresh... More

We spent our last night in Italy at this special hotel. The rooms are amazing, the hotel has a relaxed and professional atmosphere. The location is hard to beat and the staff are both lovely and helpful. We would certainly return to this contemporary hotel.

We loved: - The fabulous room: big, beautifully designed, high-ceilinged, full of natural light, very edgy furniture + a big window in the bathroom, a rarity in so many design hotels - Wonderful beddings, top notch toiletries, professional hair drier, fluffy towels and robes – in this respect, a solid 4* - Excellent shower - Free and very reliable wi-fi... I strongly recommend the hotel. I came for a conference, exhausted and somewhat stressed. Room was elegant, peaceful and inspiring (beautiful lights from Davide Groppi). Bathroom was spacious and well thought. Service was welcoming and helpful. I felt at home - probably in a dream flat. I would love to hear about similar hotels in other cities in Europe.

Behind an anonymous front door lies a small but beautifully-formed town house-turned-boutique-hotel. Polished concrete floors and walls, subdued lighting and a scattering of contemporary chairs and tables soften the reception area which doubles as a bar and breakfast room. We were met by Sergio at the front desk and treated to the same genuine and friendly welcome that sets this... More

It has the complete package. Situated in an old Milan building, there's a heritage lift which we used for luggage. There a lot of stairs in between reception and your room but it adds to the charm of the place. The decor was modern contemporary and they killed it. Loved the light fittings and the way the room was designed.... More

Very nice hotel for a business trip or for tourist visiting with a lot of charm and helpful employees. It is in the downtown and walking distance to Metro. Only problem is with taxi drivers that have hard time to find it.

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
