Well suited for being a tourist in Milan, not spending much time in the room, which is small. Personell is friendly and helpful. One peculiar item is the wooden bottom in the shower cabinet, which seems unhygenic in a hotel and gives an odour.

Return visit but a lot less impressed. It remains a comfortable hotel away from the bustle of city centre. Distinct italian designer Influence throughout. Rooms comfortable, bathroom was OK, clean but the shower / bath was not practical when leaving the bath as this was incredibly slippery and the step quite high.. It seems that though many had already suggested... More

I am currently at the hotel. The room and bathroom are clean and well appointed but Milan is in the middle of a severe heat wave with 38 Deg C temperatures in the day, and the hotel shuts off the air conditioning to the rooms between 11 pm and 6 am!! I called the reception to complain about no a.c.... More

Dear T0asted, Thank you for having taken the time of writing us. We are deeply sorry if your stay has been unpleasant due to the temperature in your room. Unfortunately, as stated in many Italian newspapers this morning, due to the extraordinary high temperature and electricity demand last night, we had a general black out that involved all the areas... I'm very disappointed with the service in the hotel. I checked in on the 26th and got the suite and I have even got the platinum card. However, when I came in, I was made to feel like a beggar. I was served by this lady called Eliana on the 26 June. Check in was slow and the service very... More

Standard hotel, with very very small rooms. This was perhaps the smallest room i ve ever had. Hotel is integrated in block of houses and its little bit drown below sidewalk level. Breakfast was ok, but its paid (you can choose from two levels). Price was quite high for location and hotel style.

Staying in Navigli

Neighborhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
