The Hotel Five was just fine for what we wanted...a mid priced hotel in a decent location. It was clean and the staff were good. I guess I was just a bit put off by the entire dirty state of Milan. However, the hotel was just fine - I had a room with a balcony over the back courtyard, which... More

This is a great hotel offering a good location (easy short walk to metro), attentive staff- always with a smile and were willing to provide help and advice when requested, and pleasant accommodation (bed was very comfortable, room a good size by City standards and modern bathroom suite and shower). Room always clean and tidy. Breakfast provided a great selection... More

Spent one night here on a short overnight through Milan. We were traveling from northern Italy and catching a train to Rome the next morning so proximity to the metro system was important. This place sure fit the bill! When we came out of the subway station it was visible just down the block!! Given that it was after 11pm... More

Good location near the Metro. There are restaurants, a mcdonald and bars within the vicinity. Rooms are quiet very clean and modern. The shower could be a bit small for the larger sized ppl but acceptable. Room/lobby has wifi. This place is value for money. I also walked back from duomo as i had time which was also a nice... More

We stayed here for two nights. This is a small hotel, well designed, with quirky touches. Our room was clean, but tiny. Breakfast area was clean, but tiny. Breakfast food was good for the rating. Choice of fried egg, bacon, scrambled egg, sausage, pastries, yoghurt etc. Hotel is very close to subway and handy for quick travel into Duomo/Centrale. There's... More

We stayed here our first night in Italy. We are a family of five so we requested two rooms close together, which they granted. Both rooms were ready, even though we arrived a little before check-in. The rooms were very clean and certainly large enough for the time we spent in them. Everyone in our group slept well and really... More

Spent 4 nights here in July and took advice of other reviewers and chose a room to the back of the hotel overlooking the courtyard. Our room was small but functional, and we did have a small shaded balcony which was nice to sit on in the late afternoon. The bathroom was tiny with a sink more suited to a... More

We stopped for one night in Milan before heading to the lakes. This hotel was functional and stylish. Room was teeny tiny but modern and well furnished and even had a tiny balcony too. Breakfast was very good by italian standards, very fresh. Staff were helpful and courteous. Hotel was well situated and it only took a short metro trip... More

The hotel is very clean and modern. The breakfast is good and plentiful. I loved the handmade cappuccino instead of having to use an automated machine. Location is great, just a block away from the metro. I needed a Laundromat and asked if there was one nearby. The clerk did not know, but she went online for me and found... More
