Stayed here one night on a business trip to be able to see the center of Milan. very convenient walk to Duomo, Scala, etc. Good breakfast. Typical small rooms for a boutique inner city hotel. The staff was very helpful.

I'm wary of boutique hotels that tend to have dark tiny rooms that are not well kept or thrououghly clean but rely on being highly stylised, but this one is very very nice! Large rooms and bathrooms. Classy modern and tasteful. Very clean. Excellent Italian continental breakfast buffet with a selection of fine cold cuts and cheeses for breakfast. It's... More

One night stay for a business trip; friendly staff, great english skills. Good breakfast, quiet rooms. We used the conference room facilities, and were well looked after. Good bar too for a late night drink. All boxes ticked.

We stayed here a number of times now and this is a really great little boutique hotel with a super location in Brera with smallish but very nicely decorated rooms, a super friendly staff, a cool bar and a even "cooler" breakfast with live music each morning.

We arrived, a party of four, on 11 December 2015 to celebrate the 95th birthday of our grandmother. We had advised the hotel of this event ahead of time. We received an upgrade to her and my room (my brother and his partner had the same room as booked) and the staff presented my grandmother with a lovely birthday cake... More

There's much to recommend here: each morning at breakfast, a member of the brilliant La Scala orchestra provides lovely music for guests. The concierge, Riva, was super helpful with all of our needs and Dimitrius at the front desk was welcoming and knowledgable. Our room was well-appointed and the location of the hotel is perfect. On the downside, it's quite... More

So the hotel is ok. Pretty clean and the staff are nice....but one thing that is extremely annoying is that its the front desk that controls the room temperature. Yes thats right. You in your room have no control of the temperature. They like to keep it pretty cold in the winter to save money. So as a customer you... More

Dear Sir, we are very sorry to receive such a severe review about our hotel, and even more to reply to some incorrect information and negative perceptions we can read. We had the pleasure to have you as our dear Guest for 7 nights at the beginning of December and, after the present negative comment, you returned for another stay... More

Live music at breakfast, piano, harp, guitar.Very good restaurant and friendly staff.lovely decor The best feature is the location, five minutes walk to La Scala, ten to the Duomo

Nice hotel in a fantastic location. Rooms are good size, decor is modern and tasteful. Bed is firm but comfortable, room well appointed, bathroom nice..personal preference I prefer bar soap over liquid but not offered in room. Breakfast fine but no variation so if you are there for more than one day it is repetitive. Worst point is the fitness... More

we were amazed by the space in the room, since usually the rooms in Italy are not very big, but this one had a big bathroom, and a big room, the staff is very friendly and helpful. breakfast was not that good though, it lacks variety.

Staying in Brera

Neighborhood Profile
Brera
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
