This is what we read in their description before we booked: If you plan to arrive after midnight contact the hotel with your booking confirmation and your time of arrival. We booked online for one night and emailed them about our late arrival, the next day they answered that they could not receive us after midnight. We then asked them... More

I used this hotel for one night for a visit in Milano. The hotel is placed perfectly close to a metro station with about 1/2 hour to the center of Milano. The landlady was very friendly and helpful. The bed wasn't to great but it worked out for one night. Its an older place and the room could use a... More

Good value option. Rooms are okay (bed was good, room was large enough, bathroom was good, it was clean enough) but nothing special. Breakfast was basic. The reception doubles as the breakfast room in the morning. Guests sit on stools at high tables and there is a small choice of sweets, coffee/tea (from a vending machine, free of charge) etc,... The location was great. Clearly outside the city but close to rail and trams. Free parking on site and an excellent breakfast available. The host is very friendly and helpful. We did not need to ask for instructions on how to get to town as she provided that early on. For those who want a laundromat go to LAVANDERIA ECOLAVA... More

Positive points: quiet hotel, reasonable price, room with bathroom, TV, good wifi. Friendly staff. Nice neighboorhood. There is a big supermarket 8 min by foot from the hotel, in viale zara street. Negative points: far from the city center, but it's 5 min by foot from Istria metro station(around 15 min by metro to the stations at the touristic points,... More

Location is OK, pretty close to Istria subway station. Good size room and bathroom. Poor quality bed. The lady at the reception was obsessed that we use too much water. After 11pm when I was almost at sleep she called me to check if the water is off in the bathroom. Poor manners. Do not recommend.

We travelled as a family of 4. Our apartment was very modern, comfortable and spacious with 2 rooms. The kitchen facilities are good although there wasn't so much in the way of utilities. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

It is already the second time when we stay in this B&B. This B&B is maintained very well, as we had found the rooms the same good condition as they were a year ago. The property is located in a nice area, just a few stops by tram No.5 or by bus from Milano Centrale to Piazza Istria. It is... More

Staying in Bicocca

Neighborhood Profile
Bicocca
Although Bicocca is a peripheral district, many visitors will find it appealing. The district is enveloped by the immense Parco Nord (North Park), one of the largest parks in Europe. Inside is the theater Arcimboldi, one of the most important contemporary theaters where concerts and shows are organized. In the same area, there is the University of Milan Bicocca, whose distinct architecture rivals a movie set. Coffee shops, a multiplex and a shopping center are in the campus, along with the Fondazione Hangar Bicocca, one of the most famous museums of Contemporary Art.
