Beautifully decorated, carefully planned and spacious apartment. Excellent facilities generous provision of food and drink and very warm welcome and hospitality from Alessandra - even to the extent of emailing us with details of how to find the apartment from Stazione Porta Garibaldi just a couple of days before we arrived. Next time in Milan, this is the place for... More

I stayed at Porta Garibaldi B&B for 9 nights with my husband. We could not have found a better place to stay in Milan. The location is excellent. It is close to the train/Metro station (especially good if you want to travel to Rho Fiera for Expo) and is surrounded by excellent cafés and restaurants including Eataly which has fantastic... I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Porta Garibaldi to anyone else. This was our 4th stay to this amazing B&B which is better than some of 4 stars hotels we have stayed. Alessandra is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect for her guests. Can't say better than that! We already confirmed to... More

We come back every year in Porta Garibaldi b&b where we feel like home. Nice and cosy very well situated in the heart of Milano close to the hype area of Porta Nova. And above all Alessandra is such a great host taking care of us and making sure we do not feel hungry (the fridge is full of goodies... More

Really enjoyed our stay in a very well laid out apartment in a great part of town. Only a short visit but soon got to find our way about on the trams - and miles on foot ! Allessandro was lovely attentive at the start, and discreet for the remainder - couldd not have asked for more.

Attention to detail and generosity of spirit is what strikes one when arriving at Porta Garibaldi B and B. Alessandra, the host and owner impressed us with her enthusiasm and the level of attention and thought given to her guests' comfort. In a small but beautiful and light space, she has created a functional bedroom, kitchen and bathroom area dotted... More

Great place to stay. This B&B is more like an appartment. Well furnished and decorated; you feel like home. Very clean. It was a good location and easy to find. We used the Milano Subway to visit the city, mainly because we were experiencing jet lag. Next visit, I would walk as it would not have taken more than 20... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Porta Garibaldi. From our initial enquiry to check out we found the host charming and supportive. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable and trouble free. The apartment was extremely well stocked. Breakfast was included in fact we came nowhere close to eating all the volume of high quality food... More

We had a wonderful 5 day stay in this gorgeous little B&B. Alessandra our host made it wonderful from the first email. Alessandra left us all provisions and also baked cakes and left them for us to enjoy. The B&B is situated in great area, lively and close to walking distance of the Duomo Church and mall. Train station just... More

It was our 3rd times to stay in Porta Garibaldi B&B. Everything is same and perfect. The owner, Alessandra is very kind and makes every effort to accommodate your need. Though we meet her once a year, she seems our old friend. Perfect location. Nice walking distance to centre. We will be going to meet Alessandra in next year. Stop... More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
