we were greeted at the Fiori Chiara Via Formenti 5 apartment by Sarah. she very kindly carried my case up the 6 flights of stairs, for which I was very great full. the apartment is bright, spacious and very clean in the heart of the Brera district. we were above a busy restaurant but weren't bothered by the noise even keeping... From the Milano Centrale station it was just 12 Euro by a Taxi. Stayed in one of their numerous apartment in Milano which was just by the fancy street of Milano, Corso Garibaldi. It takes just 1 minute into Corso Garibaldi and once you are in Corso Garibaldi you will find enough bars and restaurants!! From outside this apartment doesn't... More

The one we stayed was on Via San Fermo, 1 which is about 8 minutes from Turati metro station. It was well coordinated through email and phone, the host arrives just after 5 minutes we got there. The apartment is clean, spacious. The kitchen was good enough for us and we had no issue while staying there. The only items... More

Apartments near sempione park was nice, airy, well equipped. We had a view on a park from 2 rooms. There is a small lift and beautiful yard inside building. Our hostess was punctual and friendly. The only one bad thing was noise from the street almost all night. There is a street with bars near apartments so it's bad neighborhood.... More

We stayed here for 2 nights for 511 euros, so not cheap stay. We booked via brera 23 for four of us. Shower and coffee machine good, and location. The area in Brera is noisy, but this did not bother us as we had done our research and were happy to still stay in this area, we wanted to go... More

It is a bit far from the center, you will get tired when you try to go there by foot. So do not, just get a taxi. There is no curtain or a cover at the bath, so its all get wet when you having shower.

Not cheap, but well worth the money. Spacious, for 3-4 people, good condition, clean, modern appearance, fast WIFI, nice terrace. Quiet location, yet within walking distance of main railway stations (Centrale and Garibaldi) and subway stations (Repubblica and Moscova). Also within walking distance of the main shopping streets, the Duomo area, and an upmarket restaurant area (Brera). We stayed there... More

The apartment was clean, tidy and well equipped. The key holder Simone arrived to open up for us within minutes of our arrival. The location was within ten minutes walk of the Scala and the Duomo just a little further. I would have given it a five but there was no iron...an we needed our frocks smoothing for the opera.... This is my second visit to Milan and stayed at the Brera Apartments both times and it is just a great place to stay. Location is excellent and in a nice area that has lots of bars and restaurants. The apartments are big and have everything you would need. Kitchens and bathrooms are clean and have everything you need. We... More

Staying in Brera

Neighborhood Profile
Brera
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
