We have just returned from Isola apartment in Milan. This is ideally located near main line transport into Milan. Apartment is adequate for 4 people. Nothing was too much trouble. Host was very accommodating and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Locating the apartment was fine and as we arrived late we had arranged to meet an admin guy at the door and he was there. The apartment is accessed through a courtyard and is on the first floor (no lift as far as I could see, but I may be wrong). The apartment is on two levels wit the kitchen,... More

We arrived at the apartment by taxi and after finding the correct button on door we were met and brought in. You unlock the street door (sometimes the huge doors to courtyard were swung open) and enter the courtyard. Then up and few steps to glass door (key #2) , inside, and up stairs to apartment. Inside apartment (key #3)... More

The only issue we had with the apartments was that despite having reminded the managers very early over email, that we would check in half a day early (paying extra of course) at 9.30 am, I was left outside the door ringing the doorbell like a mad woman and calling them over the phone, to no avail. We had to... More

I was staying here for 2 weeks because I was working in our Milan studio. Especially the apartment I spend most of my time in was lovely, two floors and the greatest thing - a balcony! I was here in July and the city was very hot, therefore I was very happy to have air-conditioning in the apartment (which I... More

Paid for a ‘deluxe’ apt for 2. Certainly not what we got. 2 friends staying 3 nights basically 2 full days in mid-June. Chose it for the terrace and internet - thinking it would make up for the not central location. The terrace? A viewless place with some dead plants and a single (broken) chair - best of all -... We stayed here for 4 nights with our toddler and found it to be a great facilty and gave us so much more space than a hotel. The location was ideal, literally 5 mins walk from Garibaldi station (take exit at platfrom 20). Within the station there is a decent size spar for all essentials which is open til 9pm.... More

I would agree with other comments that the apartments are roomy with good wardrobe space. The bathroom was spotlessy clean with large towels. Very, very quiet, no street noise or from within the apartments. A small terrace overlooking the street with table and two chairs. The aircon was efficient, and welcome because I used the apartment for a series of... More

We stayed in apartment B for 4 nights. The apartment was really spacious for the 2 of us- there's a small kitchette with oven, fridge, coffee machine etc, lounge, huge bedroom with ample wardrobe space and a terrace upstairs which was a really nice addition. Luckily there was air-con which was a welcome break from 35 degree heat outside! A... More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
