After a wonderful stay in Bellagio, we felt we must visit Milan for a couple of days as we had flown into Milan and wanted to get to know it, albeit briefly. Leaving the lakes after such beautiful weather was a wrench, but the welcome we received at the hotel made our visit worthwhile. The staff at reception always greeted... More

We spent 3 days in Milano at the CP Hotel Milan City and here is our review: > Location: couldn't be more perfect! Just besides the entrance hall, you'll find the Sondrio Metro station. And if you walk less than 10 minutes, you reach the Milano Centrale Train station. Of course, the hotel is not in the city centre but... More

Fabulous hotel. Could not fault it. Spotlessly clean throughout. In a great position being only a few steps away from the metro which will take you to all the sights. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, from the staff on the desk who helped out with directions and restaurant suggestions, to the very cheerful bar staff. There is... More

Absolutely fine hotel.. Close enough to linate airport and just above the underground if you need to use it. Hotel itself was good, location not that great if you want to go out..

We have been here before and always were happy. This time we encountered a problem in the technical design that ruined one night. It seems that between winter and summer the heating must be switched over to cooling. If it so happens that you have a hot winter day as we had April 3 the room can not be cooled,... More

We recently stayed here on a trip to Milan and I have nothing but great praise for this hotel. Its clean, modern, bright with very well laid out rooms all tastfully decorated to a very high standard. From the moment we arrived we were made feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the staff here. We asked... More

Lovely hotel, very clean and friendly staff. Breakfast is adequate with good choice.Location is a bit away from the centre, probably about a 15 minute walk but the metro station is right under the hotel. We would use this hotel again.

Decent four star hotel. Big advantage: it's so easy to find – right next to a Metro station, with good metro connections. Only real criticism you could make of the room was a lack of drawers; everything else was impeccable. Some delays at Reception, but not a major issue. Unusually, dined in the restaurant. It rained all the time I... More

I’m always staying at this hotel during my shopping in Milano for 3-4 nights twice per year. I really like and enjoy everything about this hotel: Rooms I’ve been staying in two kinds of rooms so far – standard and superior. All the rooms I’ve been staying at had the same design – modern, stylish, with very comfortable lighting. The... More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
