The hotel is located just a few steps from the train station which is excellent if you are arriving by train. The city centre is only a short stroll away so overall the location is good. The hotel itself is very tired and reminded me of holiday resorts in the 70s and 80s. I didnt mind that so much but... More

The hotel is directly across the street from the railroad station. It is an older building in keeping with the neighborhood and is a moderate walk to historic sites along several lovely streets. The whole city of Mantua is quite walkable and rather flat. The rooms were comfortable but a bit austere. The bathroom was fine and comfortable. The desk... More

Our 6 night stay at the Albergo Bianchi was made very pleasant by Matteo who went way out of his way to help us in our search for family in the Mantua area. He poured over phone books, and his staff arranged for an English speaking cab driver to drive about 20 kilometers out and go with us to translate.... More

This hotel is right across from the Mantova train station , so a very handy place to stay if you arrive by train. The welcoming receptionist who spoke good English offered me a room for 60 euros for a single. This is a no frills hotel , but perfectly adequate as a base for a few days to explore Mantova.... More
