We went directly to Stresa without a hotel booking, and were given a list of available accommodations with prices by the tourist information at the lakeside ferry terminal. We decided on the Hotel da Cesare as it was 50 euros without breakfast for a double room with attached bath. It was pretty good for a 2 star and the bathroom... more
