We were perhaps fortunate to have been given a room in the Dipendenza annexe overlooking the township, and although we were conscious of the odd train passing the hotel, we were not disturbed at all. The hotel sits in beautiful and well-kept grounds, the rooms are clean and very comfortable and we enjoyed sitting out on the little balcony in... More

I booked the hotel based on the good reviews on TripAdvisor. Frankly, I was quite disappointment. I expected a tranquil environment. Instead, the hotel turned out to be very noisy as it is just next to the railway and every 10 minutes a train passes, booming loudly. Rooms are very basic indeed - mine did not have even a wastebasket!... More

I stayed here in May for 3 nights. The hotel is a ten minute walk, with cases, from the train station and five minutes from the town restaurants and shops. The people who work in the hotel could not be more helpful. The room that I stayed in was comfortable and had a small balcony overlooking the grounds. I had... More

With only a few days notice I booked a single room at Hotel du Parc, having just decided to take a short overnight trip from Milan. Only a short walk from the train station, the property itself is really lovely - enchanting gardens, elegant main rooms and everything very well-kept. My single room was of a decent size in the... A great experience by all means- the atmosphere, the quality of the room and the equipment in it, the beautiful decoration of the down "lobby", the pleasant and tasty breakfast but above all, the attitude of everyone from the lovely receptionist to the guy in the dining room and of course the lovely couple, which runs the hotel. The hotel... More

Stayed here first two nights in Italy. Great decision. our hosts were very welcoming making us feel like company. The rooms are large with good beds, refrigerator and large bathrooms. Breakfast was simple with cold cuts, hard boiled eggs, cereal, and very good coffees. 5 minute walk to city center and water ( you will be in the post card,... More

We stayed here during a recent trip to Lago Maggiore. The hotel is an easy 6-7 min walk from the train station and 5 min to the lake shore and center of town. It has the feel of long gone days and this is what gives its charm. Our room was in the main building, was spacious and facing the... More

My friend and I are older women with mobility problems and were looking for a small hotel. Our room was in the annex and was up 5 or 6 steps. Our room was pleasant, had air conditioning which we needed, and comfortable beds. The hotel has parking and is located at the top of the hill overlooking Stresa. It was... More

We stayed in the main building of Hotel du Parc and asked for their quiet rooms just in case the trains disturbed sleep. They did not interfere with sleep, the beds were really comfortable and the rooms were light and airy. Breakfast was lovely each day, the waiter was so discreet in the background and ensured all needs were met.... More

We have just completed a 6 night stay in this 3 star hotel, staying in the main hotel facing the mountain. Having read reviews regards the noise from passing trains, we didn’t find this to be a problem. I'm sure some would be greatly annoyed by the closeness of the railway and the noise created by passing trains, but for... More
