The sound insulation of the room is very bad and you can hear what people are saying (who live in the room next to you). We requested for a change of room, and they gave us a room which is not clean up and also with bad sound insulation. Not recommend for couples to live here. Good buffet breakfast.

The Regina Palace is a 4 star hotel, but has got many features of 5 stars. The dining room is very elegant, though the variety of food in breakfast is limited. The SPA and indoor swimming pool are really wonderful, big enough to swim and lot of seats to relax. The rooms are spacious, but if you arrive for the... More

We stayed here as part of a Great Rail Journeys holiday package. The hotel is a short 10-15 min walk from the railway station, but those with a lot of luggage may need a taxi. In spite of being aware of how many were arriving, and at what time, the reception staff were not prepared for our arrival and there... More

This is a truly elegant hotel in a splendid location on Lake Maggiore. The rooms are furnished in a classical style with excellent facilities, most have balconies and free Wi-Fi is a bonus! The staff are cheerful and helpful and we had no problem changing our room when we arrived. We were at the rear of the Hotel but that... More

I was picked up by the tour guide from Milan airport and already I was absolutely in love! This is what I had imagined my trip to Italy would be like. Even the drive into the hotel was beautiful with winding roads and million dollar villas, who my driver conveniently pointed out were for sale. Upon entering the hotel, I... More

What a wonderful hotel! We chose carefully as it was a special celebration (my 50th - oh no!!). Well we weren't disappointed at all. The elegant glamour of this beautiful Belle Epoque Hotel is breath taking. The staff were fantastic, helpful, exceedingly friendly and welcoming - some great comedy moments too! You are very centrally located and can walk to... More

We stayed here last week of Sept when the weather was perfect. The room was elegant, clean and quiet. Beware of the bedside rugs on polished wooden floor. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Jugs of good coffee or cappuccino. All the staff were friendly. Drinks from the bar were reasonably priced for a hotel bar and are... More

You cannot fail to be impressed by the building when you arrive and the beautifully maintained grounds, even though it was raining at the time. On entering the hotel you feel as if you are in an episode of Poirot. Check in was efficient and quick and we were shown to our room with a lovely view over the lake.... More

Be aware that the breakfast offered is extremely poor , the majority of the fruit offered was tinned, there was only scrambled egg available which had been cooked and left for some time, with poor bacon and sausage, on requesting tea we were given one tea bag and a small cup, on trying to locate further teabags found that they...
