Fantastic hotel with amazing view and location Very nice and helpful staff and excellent service Breakfast is very good thou seems rather comic considering the waiters breakfast show but worth trying it. Rooms are very nice if you like a classic charming hotel deco however if you prefer contemporary style this wont be the one.

Amazing experience in this elegant hotel with history and character. Rooms: nice with lovely views to the lakes, they need new mattress (firm). Bathroom is necessary to check bcs sometimes it makes strange sounds but not always. Restaurant: excellent choice food and wine. Service: Good service, nothing to complain. Pool: it's good not too big but good enough Location: near... More

Most hotels along Lake Maggiore are elegant looking properties with beautiful landscaping. Regina Hotel was a short walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. Great chocolate stores. Hotel itself was like walking into the past. Our room was huge and facing the Lake - so lucky. We were able to open the window and stand on the balcony which... More

Stayed at Regina Palace as part of International Congress. Great location and the property has old world charm from lounge area, display cases and rooms. We had Lake view room which was very comfortable. The meals were very enjoyable and the dinning room staff very professional. The only issue is no matter what time you arrive you can not complete... Built at the turn of the century, the Regina Palace is wonderfully opulent - almost but not quite over the top. Gold and stained glass in the elaborate doors, multi-coloured marble floors, gilt furniture in cozy groupings in the huge lounge, tiny but exquisitely decorated elevators. But the real magic is in the setting. A vast green lawn with formal... More

This hotel was in the heart of Stresa. Walk 100 yards to Lake Maggiore across the street. The view is worth it. Rooms either have a balcony side or water view. Lovely looking rooms small refrig, nice dark drapes for sleeping, flat screen TV, good water pressure, big bath tubs, hair dryer and very nice staff. I loved walking the... More

Had room 201 overlooking the lake and side view to the islands which you can visit by boat which docks across the road right outside the hotel. Normally big old hotels from another era 1866 don't have much modern things working well but this place does. Free wifi that works in the room, hot power shower, a round bed! We... More

Regina Palace is an “old palace” style building located in the heart of Stresa. Its location is perfect to offer you grand views of Lago Maggiore to the front and the mountains to the back. Just a short walk to the town center, short walk to the train station and just across the street from the ferries. It is decorated... More

Imagine you take out a beautiful woman and later find out that she is wearing a padded bra, fake eyelashes, a wig and false teeth. That's what it's like when you stay at Regina Palace. It looks great when you arrive, big wow factor but then you get to your room that has the hard (Flintstones bed comes to mind)... More

Just an amazing palace that is opulent beyond words. Understatement is not the motif here but it's all the more fabulous because of the excesses. The rooms are ornately decorated down to the finest details, the views of the lake superb and the proximity to town just about right. We upgraded to a lake view for about $ 91/night extra,... More
