We had a wonderful two night stay at the Regina Palace! Our room was very comfortable, spacious and immaculate! Lake view was amazing and the grounds are manicured beautifully! Front desk staff was lovely accept for one younger, dark haired girl ( I wish we had gotten her name). She was rude to us on more then one occasion! Weather... More

We stayed at the Regina Palace for 7 nights on a Riviera Travel Italian Lakes holiday. We found the past reviews on TA to be pretty accurate with the hotel offering excellent location, beautiful grounds, grand decor, good breakfast and a great Sporting Club / indoor pool / Spa. A couple of pieces of advice: 1. If the air conditioning... More

This hotel is majestic in style and elegance. The public rooms are beautifully furnished and the decor relates to a time when hotels of this type were very fashionable to travellers embarking on the grand tour. The bedrooms are also well furnished and most comfortable. The en suite bathrooms are rather cramped but adequate. Our room had a balcony overlooking... More

We stayed for 3 nights in the regina palace with our son, 20months old. We had a room lake view which was quite small once the cot was there (note you need to pay an extra 25€/might for the cot). The room was nice, without being outstanding (not the best comfort, A/C didn't work). Service in the restaurant was very... More

Just returned from a lovely holiday staying in this hotel as part of a Riviera Travel Group. I emailed the hotel before arrival, mentioning our anniversary and they kindly upgraded us to a beautiful room overlooking the lake. Restaurant staff could not have been kinder and ambience in the hotel itself, could not have been more opulent. Location of the... More

this is one of the" leading hotels of the world" and it certainly lives up to it ever single part of the hotel exudes top class, even the entrance to the private underground car park is tastefully adorned, my house should be so good. sometimes when you view the photos of an hotel and then visit it the reality is... There is much to like about this hotel, its decor is fabulous, its location not only provides fine views but is also convenient for local facilities and the local town centre with its restaurants is close by, breakfasts are pretty good and the gardens provide an appropriate setting but registration is shambolic and one of the receptionists is extraordinarily rude... Beautiful room, great upgraded room with lake view. Nice spa, pretty gardens, nice veranda. Staff has not been too impressed with Americans. Makes me feel they are happy to take my money, but that is all. They have others here (for conferences) and reserve nice tables with views for them at the included buffet breakfast for all guests, but don't... More

We spent 4 nights in half board and enjoyed our stay overall. The positives: - The palace is a really impressive building, with lot of history - Dinners were excellent - Location is ideal, just a walk from the center of Stresa and from the boats stations, and also very quiet, no disturbing noise from the road in front of... This was our first hotel on a 13 day visit to Italy and could not have made a better impression on me. My first word at the sight of the hotel was WOW. It really is an elegant hotel on beautifully landscaped grounds within walking distance of shops and restaurants and right across the street from Lago Maggiore. Our room... More
