A historical hotel in a beautiful setting in Stresa. The lobby is really beautiful, as is the garden, and the view from the terrace. A couple of minutes walk to the center, by the lake. Walking distance to the ferries and the railway station. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor pool, as we travelled with a 2-year-old. The pool towels were... More

We were 2 years ago at Regina as guests and we had the opportunity to have an amazing dinner. This time we were at other hotel in Stresa but we couldn't skip to have dinner at Charleston restaurant. The waiters are very polite and helpfull, the menu was exquisite, the wine selection was amazing and the sphere was wonderful because... More

Had a really restful holiday with my disabled sister in law and meeting up with friends , this Grand Hotel. Room facilities for the three of us, apart from the somewhat slippery walk in shower room were excellent. Food was very good and the wine list priced for all tastes. The Hotel general rooms were easily accessible a pleasure to... More

Stayed here with a tour group in June. Our room was small, but above average in quality and cleanliness. Bathroom was also small, but updated. We enjoyed a small balcony with gorgeous pots of trailing geraniums. The view was nondescript, however. I felt the front desk staff was curt, offering help, but no smiles or pleasantries. Our breakfast was included... More

The Regina Palace Hotel looks beautiful and old worldly from the outside and when you first walk in, but you soon see that it needs much upgrading and renovating. We're in room 134 on the first floor, which had a partial view of the really lovely garden. The room is OK, but certainly not luxurious. It's quite clean, although it... More

We stayed 4 nights at this beautiful Hotel looking out over the Lake. It was like stepping back in time with the baroque style interiors. We had a very spacious, comfortable room and bathroom. Fantastic view off our balcony looking out over the lake. There is a lovely pool area and gardens. Great location close to boat tours, restaurants etc.... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in early July and, from the outset, there seemed to be something missing with regard to our expectations from this delightful building perfectly positioned on the lakeside at Stresa. Porter services were optional, "I can call them if you want", should they be optional? The room was not being checked, just cleaned, as we... More

The Regina Palace is very conveniently situated for boat tours, walking into Stresa and along the lakefront. The service from the staff was very attentive and helpful, especially the staff at breakfast. The decor is outrageously ornate with lots of gold fancy chairs and chandeliers. This was not to our taste, but more importantly it doesn't make it very comfortable.... More

Just back from a week in Stresa with a tour company. We were allocated a room at the back of the hotel on the first floor and have no complaints. The room was spotless, very elegantly decorated and there was plenty of wardrobe space and storage. The bathroom had a Jacuzzi bath and a bidet. The food was very varied... More

We were given a holiday to this hotel from our family, Re Golden Wedding, it didn't disappoint, from the minute we arrived it had the Wow factor. !! Staff all very helpful and attentive, lovely quiet room, and fantastic view from balcony over the gardens and pool. The location too is really great. So central.
