This is an old and very nice hotel The rooms are diverse and that is part of the charm from small (but not to small) to big. nice rooms with what you need and a litle bit more ;) situated just outside Stresa center along the main road. it has a very nice garden with outside pool and bar, and... We stayed at the Regina Palace a few years ago and as we had some time in norther Italy it was an easy decision to return to where we had felt so good. Regrettably the bus tourism volume has overtaken the hotel. We were disappointed in so many ways and considering the cost will not be returning. For example, the... More

We booked this hotel as part of a tour with 39 others and from the outside this hotel oozes class. The whole building is vast and looks like Art Deco although people with Art History will probably correct me. The gardens are vast and the outdoor swimming pool is clean and inviting. Around the pool are large numbers of sun... More

We were with the tour company, Riviera Travel and stayed here for the week. It is a magnificent hotel, which is ideally situated on the lake side, near to boats, the town, the buses and the station. The hotel is set in beautifully kept grounds. The public rooms are spectacular. The staff were, without exception, helpful, approachable and efficient. Our... More

We travelled here through Crystal / Thomson. First of all let me say the room, a junior suite 108 on the first floor was excellent. Large ornate bedroom with sitting area and a very large terrace with loungers, table and chairs. The meals were very good as was the service, the waiters being charming, witty and efficient. The breakfast varied... More

We had to agree, this hotel lives up to all the best things that have been said about it. We were initially disappointed on being given a room with neither a view of the lake, nor garden mentioned in the tour operator's brochure, in fact simply a couple of Velux skylights aiming at the sky. But when we complained, along... More

This hotel is one of the oldest on the strip on Lake Maggiore and is very grand as you walk up to it with it's beautiful flowers surrounding its entrance. Inside is like an Italian Palace and we even had a crown on our headboard. :):). Driving in takes you past it a bit and into the side to park.... More

What a pleasant surprise this hotel. The façade is the most beautiful in Stresa and so is the interiour. Rooms are very comfortable, great shower although not fit for large people. Breakfast is very good, the service is excellent. Great view on the lake, big terrace. Very clean. Only two steps from city centre. Most amazing swimming pool inside, nice... More

Everything about the hotel is perfect, we stayed in a junior suite for a week with a great lake view, the weather was terrible at the end of July 2014 but we still had a great time. The spa area was the best we have ever used, a real advantage with the weather, the outdoor pool was good also not... More

We really enjoyed our four night stay in this lavishly decorated belle époque style hotel. It is extremely well located directly across the road from the lake and right in the centre of town. The hotel is extremely ornate and photogenic which gave it a great atmosphere evocative of its era and made it a real pleasure to stay there.... More
