This review is for the restaurant and not the hotel. We picked this restaurant as we thought it had air con and it was a stiffingly hot and humid evening. We were wrong! The fans turned so slow the flies thought it was a playground roundabout! Anyway, we went ahead and ordered the 3 course set menu. Soup and salad... More

Located just steps away from the square in the pedestrian area of Stresa, this is a very good choice at a very fair price. It is a very easy walk to the ferry dock for boat excursions on Lake Maggiore. The hotel is family owned and operated. My room was exactly as pictured on their website, with simple Scandinavian type... More

We made an order by mistake for a twin bed. When we asked the receptionist nicely to fix the bed to double we were told "I cannot justify the change you requested to the owner". We had to do it by ourselves. In general, the place was average......

Was here for 5 days. The staff were really friendly despite me not speaking any Italian. The rooms are nicely decorated, nothing fancy but suitable for a comfortable stay. The town is very sporadic with opening times, be prepared for a search to find places to eat

My wife and I have a very enjoyable and good value set-lunch here. When I realised that I had left my diabetes insulin bag on an island 15 minutes away, the hotel owner immediately telephoned around and arranged for it to be returned to me on the quay. Her command of English was excellent and her assistance exemplary. I cannot... More

Shame. I picked this place because it was around the corner from a main piazza in Stesa. Many many times in italy, these are the better ones because they need to work a little harder, not having a good, touristy position. The people working the restaurant in this hotel forgot that idea a LOOONG time ago if they every had... More

My granddaughter and I stayed four nights in mid-June in this lovely hotel with delicious food and a friendly, efficient and helpful staff on duty at all times. Carla, the manager, was amazing. She's always there, overseeing the quality of cleaning, cooking and communicating with everyone in her wide variety of languages. The hotel location is perfect . . .... More

We stayed here for four nights through a Road Scholar hiking/walking adventure trip to the Northern Italian Lakes region. This hotel is just charming with Carla, the owner on hand at all times. Our stay felt like we were in a B&B, as Carla explained about leaving the hotel at night and times for breakfast etc. Our room was fine... More

Stresa is one of the most beautiful cities that I have ever visited and it was made all the more pleasant by my stay at this hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are affordable and we also got a great view of the town from our room. The location of the hotel is also prime.

My wife and myself stayed at the hotel for two nights. Location of the hotel is excellent, a two minutes walk from the ferries. pier Room very clean. (We stayed at the at a triple room since it was the only one that was free for two nights when we booked it). No AC in the room. We had two... More
