We stayed in July 2015 and I must say I wasn't expecting the long hike to town. My son and I are in good shape so it wasn't a problem, also able to burn off the wonderful meals and gelato! Massimo was helpful with giving us directions to a shortcut down to town, also with recommendations for restaurants. We were... More

Our group (6 of us) had a very unfriendly welcome from Massimo. Nothing specific, but he barely said hello. I asked him for help making a reservation at a restaurant (I told him which one) and he said he would bring me the number, instead of offering to make the call himself - and he never brought me the number.... It was a great Bed & Breakfast. The owner couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent. We would thoroughly recommend this B& to anyone visiting Stresa..

The pros here are very good ones: private parking and a good price for the area. So if theses are important to you, then this is a good choice. The downsides are: it is 3km from Stresa on a very steep hill, lot of the way no pavement. Shared bathroom- not ideal. Breakfast was just bread and croissants. No cheese... More

We stayed 2 nights in the B&B while visiting Stresa and its surroundings. The room is clean and confortable with a large separate bathroom. However, as the "guest" area is located in the basement, the room and bathroom windows overlook a concrete wall. The common area (living room) is also ver large and includes a kitchen. We appreciated the warm... More

We were back visiting the area and friends having previously lived in this beautiful part of the world. We wanted an easy base to rest our weary heads at the end of the day and this place delivered. Massimo was very welcoming and indulged me by letting me practise my Italian, even though he spoke good English. We were touched... More

Stayed here on a motorbike holiday. Amazing rooms with outside BBQ, breakfast on the terrace, beautiful views. Quite a climb up and down to Stressa but taxi's available in the town. Plenty to do in Stressa for a long weekend and very beautiful. Massimo very friendly and helpful.

Massimo was a very face at the end of a long journey for us and his welcome made us feel at home right away. The rooms were clean and spacious, the beds were comfy and we even got a cotbed for our son. Although the bathrooms are shared, it is only with one other room so it's not like you... More

This beautiful B&B is a welcome respite from the heavily touristy but beautifully located Stresa. It is set up the hill from town in a very quiet area. The house is beautiful, the rooms clean, accommodating, and restful. The common room downstairs is relaxing as is the one upstairs. Parking is very easy. Though you can walk down the hill... More

Here you can find a really friendly atmosphere! We had a good glass of wine on the balcony at the sunset and it was great! Rooms and bathrooms are clean and cozy and all is really peaceful. We really enjoyed breakfast with fresh "croissants" on the terrace. We loved it and hope to have the chance to be back again.
