“An unpretentious small hotel”

We spent four very pleasant days at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable with excellent facilities, and the breakfast was good though simple. “Nice family run hotel”

Found this hotel through booking.com and we had a very comfortable stay for 4 nights in the family room (one double and a bunk bed). Clean rooms with linen changed daily, in a quiet environment, only a short walk from the town center. The hotel gave good recommendations for meals in Stresa too! “Friendly and value for money hotel in Stresa”

Hotel Locanda is a very clean and friendly two star hotel not far from Lago Maggiore and boats to the islands. It is about a 10 minute walk to the town centre. The staff were very helpful, calling taxis for us and helping us with bookings. We had two triple rooms at the back of the hotel with little balconies.... More

“Perfect little hotel”

We stayed at la locanda for 2 nights in a family room which would be perfect for 2 adults, 2 children but was manageable for us too in a double and a bunk bed. The family who run the place are helpful and happy for you to come and go as you please. Great espresso from the reception bar too.... More

The hotel is about 10 minutes from the centre on foot. It well sign posted from the main road. We had value double room for 65 Euro including breakfast and parking was 5 Euro, which was good value. “Cozy near the centre of Stresa”

Small lovely hotel with helpful and nice staff. Near to the railway station and the centre of Stresa. Okey breakfast (would be nice with some ham or cheese to the rolls). One of our beds was a little "creaky". Very clean.

We stayed at La Locanda for 1 week. It is a very nice hotel. Perfectly located just a few minutes to walk to center of Stresa. We felt very welcome. We booked another hotel in Stresa for 3 days, but escaped after first night and luckily found La Locanda. Perfectly located on a quiet street, close to the waterfront and the city center.
