This family run hotel has just been renovated. The location is breathtaking with expansive views of Lake Maggiore and looks straight at romantic Islands of Bella and Pescatori. All staff were happy, courteous and so helpful. Front desk staff couldnt do enough for you and all with a lovely smile. Our room was a duplex on top floor and had... More

The room which overlooked the Lake was large and appeared to have been recently refurbished. The bathroom was spotless with a large modern shower. The only problem was that the water pressure wasn't very strong and the temperature did not stay constant. The Staff at Reception were impressive in their ability to advise on the best ways to make the... More

Beautiful hotel on lake but dysfunctional. The breakfast foods were somewhat tasteless, no trash can in bedroom, no tissues except a packet of 2 tissues, complicated wifi, some rude staff at front desk. There is no air conditioning after Sept 15. In order to use Internet you had to give hotel your email. The Internet never worked the two days... More

Booking at Beau Rivage at Lake Maggiore was a last minute arrangement due to a cancelation of our first choice. We certainly were not disappointed. The Hotel has a beautiful spot with views of the lake. Staff the friendliest we came across, breakfast and dinner were good value and served in a very nice dinning room. Bedrooms were a little... We recently spent 3 days at Beau Rivage. We arrived to a warm welcome at reception proving that there is still courteous and efficient friendly service to experience. Great start! The ground floor is very tastefully decorated and bright with a lovely bar. There is a small lounge area and a separate seating area for card games etc. Restaurant is... More

This 3 star hotel is right on Lake Maggoire so get a room with view if you can. Whilst thay have spent some money on the foyer, dining and reception rooms they need to update the rooms themselves - a bit dates but very functional. Great breakfast and service from the staff.

This Hotel is 3* and has obviously got a lot of history. The general upkeep is great, though as with all older Hotels there are ongoing projects that need to be kept on top of. We went to Lake Maggiore as Hubby had been on business trips around the area and wanted to reminisce. The Hotel is perfect for the... More

I've just returned from the Hotel Beau Rivage which was my 4th stay at this hotel. I visited as part of a Shearings Holidays tour, arriving on the 30th July for a 7 night stay. The staff are always friendly, and although some of the rooms may require some updating, they are very clean with good housekeeping etc. The food... More

Comfortable, clean hotel in excellent location. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although not modern decor the room and bathroom were adequate. We were only one floor up on the side of the building, affording a good view of the lake and road but noise was not a problem as the double glazing reduced it considerably. Air conditioning was probably... More

I travelled with my husband and Mum for my niece's wedding in Baveno. My husband & I had a superb duplex room (with a lounge area upstairs and two bathrooms) but both Mum's and our rooms had beautiful views from the balconies across Lake Maggiore which were far superior to other relatives who were staying at the Hotel Dino and...
