this is a hidden gem not to be overlooked in favour of the big 4 in baveno. The Hotel Alpi is fresh, modern & immaculate. I stayed with my 2 sons (11 & 13 ) nothing was too much trouble for the warm and friendly staff. Plentiful breakfast. Fresh beach towels daily for the sun, umbrellas for the rain!!
the staff was wonderfully helpful and especially attentive to guests with special needs and disabilities. the food was light, not heavy, but tasty and abundant, and well served.
location and parking great, views of lago maggiore from the room balcony stunning.
just a short walk from the beach and the park.

A good value hotel with views of the lake situated just outside Baveno. You can walk to the lake through the gardens of the villa fedora which is just outside the front gate of the hotel. It's clean and well run and the best thing of all is the friendliness and helpfulness of the local staff. Recommended.
