We had a recent short stay at the Villa Rosa whilst en route to Venice. The hotel is located on the main causeway to the historic center of Sirmione. This has to be one of the most pleasant experiences for any foreign visitor visiting Italy. The welcome from the family is delightful and they cannot do enough to make your stay enjoyable. Very good rooms, excellent breakfast, very reasonable rates. more

The Villa Rosa has a typical 'resort' hotel feel about it, except for the fact that the staff are genuinely helpful. The rooms are OK sized, very clean and tidy, and the bathroom was fine.
