It is old-style hotel which hasn't been renovated for the long time but it's kept well. Very clean and the staff is very helpful and kind. It's for sure one of the oldest hotels (or buildings) in the area but kept well with typical lago di Garda style (mediterranea vegetation, typical architecture). We stayed in double room which was not... More

The price was reasonable, if concern situation, room and breakfast. Not special but not poor. Situation not in the center but near enough. Hotel is litle oldish but rather clean. We had room for three persons - comfortable enough.

Hotel Dogana has seen better times, but even now can offer a desent stay and it posses some of it old charm. Rooms are rather small and basically furnished, but toilets were newly restored and clean. Hotel is near main road frod Peschiera to Sirmione and if you have room looking on street side can be noisy. The dining room... More

Lovely hotel 200m from the lake. Good breakfast with a nice variety. There were 4 beds in the family room one being a double bed. Plenty for 5 people. Sirmione is a lovely town with great attractions. Excellent if you have kids. Hired a boat to sail around the Island which was fantastic. Hotel had their own parking, as we... More

We stayed here in May 2012 for a couple of nights as part of a package tour. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good as was the pizzeria attached to the hotel. It's on a main road with bus stops and a pedestrian crossing close by. We thought of walking to Sirmione but glad we didn't, unless... More

No wonder Newmarket Holidays are not using this hotel again next year! I will not be booking it myself either. We regularly visit Lake Garda but won't stay here. The Hotel is quite some distance from Sirmione as in need to get a bus and when I asked for a bus timetable at reception I was given the timetable to... More

Staying with the Newmarket Holidays Group we were pleased with our rooms, courteous service and food. The lake was five mins walk away left out of Reception, down past mini market to crossroad turn left. The staff were anxious to find alternative main vegetarian meals for my husband.Breakfast was a good selection, could be eaten inside or out by the... More

Fortunately my wife and I arrived early in the day from Manston, We were unceremoniously dumped off the coach which brought us from the airport, no directions where to enter the hotel and no help with luggage. Our travelling companions were given one room and we were escorted, still no help with luggage, to a local B&B where we were... More

The Hotel Dogana is "quaint" - situated on a main road. The Restaurant is dark but breakfast room has more light and the breakfast food is better than dinner. Unfortunately we had a room with no window, only a sky light which was covered with a blind which we could not move and we had to use electric light at... More

We stayed here for one night. The only things we liked was the pool and the breakfast and that it was clean. Our room was small, the beds very uncomfortable and the air condition didn't work as good as new ones and then it becomes too hot inside when it's 38 degrees Celcius outside! Absolutely not worth the price of... More
