I've just come back from a week's stay in Italy and had to make sure to let people know how wonderful this hotel was. It's in a terrific setting in Sirmione that's right on the water. The innkeeper and his wife are so welcoming and helpful. Their complimentary breakfast was delicious and included many choices to enjoy. The rooms have... More

Enjoyed this respite in Sirmione with it's quiet, peaceful surroundings: easy walk to center restaurants and activities (we were fortunate to be there during the Mille Miglia Race for which Sirmione is a checkpoint - thrilling!!) and, in the other direction, the amazing historic ruins of the Grotte di Catullo. Valerio was incredibly knowledgeable with great recommendations for restaurants and... More

Really nice hotel, with very friendly helpful staff, and well appointed rooms. Good location only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Sirmione, yet lovely and quiet. Nice views from the roof terrace, which is a good place to watch the sun going down over Lake Garda. Breakfast was buffet style with a good selection of yoghurts, cereals,... More

Booked to stay for a week but left a night early as I found another hotel nearer the lake, that suited me better. I had requested a room with a balcony but got a view of the carpark instead. The room was a double and was a good size, plenty of room to put your clothes away and clean. The... More

I stayed one night at Hotel Meridiane. The hotel is located in a restricted traffic area, but hotel guests are allowed to drive through the old city centre. There is a small guest parking in the inner courtyard, and I could easily find a spot for my motorcycle. The hotel is located in a quiet area, just a short walk... More

After an 'interesting' drive through the Old Town of Sirmione we arrived for a 2 night stay at this hotel and it was a perfect choice. The staff were lovely, the room and bathroom were really big (room #105) with a terrace overlooking the front of the hotel too. We had free parking on site and free WIFI. The hotel... More

This time was my second stay in Meridiana and I totally enjoyed it again. The owner is a kind guy with a personal approach to each guest. I had to change my agenda and arrive a day earlier - he arranged a nice discount and gave me the same room we were going to take later with my friend. The... More

Just spent 10 days at the Meridiana in Sirmione and couldn't have found a better hotel for us. Small, charming yet unpretentious, in a quiet tree lined road, about 10 mins ,walk up to the Roman Villa and a few minutes to the centre with its many cafes and restaurants. Buffet breakfast generous and varied (unusual for a small Italian... More
