We stayed at the Hotel Eden and could not have chosen better for its location and price. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the ferry pick up point was only 30 seconds from our door which is ideal. Ok. The room decor may not be to everyone's taste! ie carpet on the walls and quite dark BUT the location of the hotel and the size of the rooms with a beautiful view over the Lake make this easy to overlook. Just returned from our 4th visit to Sirmione and our 3rd stay at the Eden over past few years. Great central location on the main Piazza next to the ferry stop. This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. First of all, the town itself is very charming and a very popular tourist stop. When coming in, you must first show your reservation to a policeman, and drive across a castle moat which is quite unique to say the least.
