I am registered disabled and spend half my time in a Wheelchair so I am inclined to keep my travelling to a minimum for fear of choosing the wrong type of accommodation. No fears here! Every single doubt was dismissed within seconds of our arrival. We travelled to the hotel by car from the airport and we had not stepped... more

Sirmione was a great little town, lots of little streets and lovely shops and the ice cream was amazing! Hotel was great only five mins from ferry port. Our room overlooked the lake and was large and comfortable. We were half board and the food was very nice especially the dinner, the lovely Fabio even gave us seconds of one... more

Stayed here for 2 nights. Our room was really big - surprised us! The bathroom was large as well with state-of-the-art fixtures and even had a hallway between the bedroom and the bathroom. Mattress was the hardest I've ever had and the pillows were flat. Found this to be true in the rest of our trip in Northern Italy. The... more

We are adding to the long list of reviews extolling the benefits of this hotel stay. Booked a long time ago directly with the hotel, we had a lakeview, balconied room 404. The large 'French' doors opening onto the balcony are lovely. The room itself is a bit dated and some of the furniture a bit rickety. Even the wooden... more

We stayed at this wonderful hotel in the old town quarter of Catullo for two weeks half board end of September. Location could not have been better, yet with its own private garden fronting the lake, it was an oasis of peace and quiet. The level of service from everyone was a real surprise, the manager, Fabio, leads a great... more

FAbio was HUGE help in orienting us around the area. loved the 2 very friendly hotel cats! the pluses: decent sized clean room, large bathroom with tub/shower, good breakfast, and nice garden and dock with chaise lounges. minuses: did not like the pillows; quite loud on weekend... more

This hotel has everything! We went during a very hot week early September so the garden and terrace with canopy of trees was perfect to keep out of the sun. The food is fantastic, four courses and perfect service, we decided to eat elsewhere one night and we were offered lunch instead and still had four courses! Fabio really looks... more

This was the second part of our two centre stay(4 nights at Hotel Benacus in Malcesine)and 3 nights here at Catullo. The buffet breakfast is great, with the offer of and omelet and other egg dishes cooked fresh on demand. Catullo is situated... more
