Hotel Broglia is owned by Signora Broglia and managed by her son. Neither seem to have any hospitality skills or in fact any interest in the hotel or its guests. Its in a fantastic location, in the heart of the old town and 5 mins from the Lido, it a has pool and wifi ( which is why we choose... More

Despite indifferent reviews I found this place very good. My single room was big enough although the bathroom could have done with losing the bidet to make more room as it is a little squashed in there but how long do you spend in the bathroom. The shower was not the best ever but was hot and reliable. the bed... More

I was very happy to discover the Hotel Broglia. It is located in the historical park of Sirmione and it has parking an a pool. The WiFi is without restrictions and it works quite well. Breakfast is full of choices and it is served in a nice big room. The rooms and hotel are a little "tired" but they are... More

This is (was once) a lovely hotel. The staff seemed fine if a little distant, apparently this is owned by Signora Broglia who is c.70 yrs old. Unfortunately, maybe because we booked just one night, we were given a room which can only be described as past its best. Wallpaper was faded and peeling, furniture was 'deco' but not trendy... More

Stayed at this fabulously located hotel with 4 kids. Kid friendly. Rooms on the small side but well appointed and clean. Breakfast buffet good, not excellent. Service friendly, staff helpful. The pool is an added plus, and charming in its location. The location of this hotel is superb.

The hotel is located on an island with restircted access. Before you can drive on to the island, the police check to see if you have a reservation. Once over the little bridge, navigating the narrow streets filled with pedestrians is a challenge. The room we had was in the front. We had a balcony. The room was on the... More

The Broglia is located inside the old city. This is a great advantage from one perspective but can also be a challenge if you arrive by car. Don't park outside the closed area, the Hotel is inside the city center and you have to ask the guard to let you in. You end up driving through the entire pedestrian zone... More

Was really looking forward to spending a couple of days living the high-life in the beautiful town of Sirmione on Lake Garda. While the location lived up to its promise, the Hotel Broglia was a big disappointment. I have had way better rooms in $50.00 motels in the States. The bed in our room was very uncomfortable, and the bathroom... More

This hotel has a great location...inside the castle walls of Sirmione and a great little town overlooking the lake! Our room had a lake view which was wonderful and although we were here in October and could not appreciate the terrace since it was alittle cold, it was still a welcome site! The hotel does need some "revamping" which the... More

We have just returned from a two night stay based upon the Tripadvisor reviews. Here starts the indecision and uncertainty about booking a hotel based upon other peoples opinions and what they are want and are used to from a holiday. We are used to booking higher star hotels and moving about from location to location. PROS Great location within... More
