Stayed last year in june 2012 for three nights , really lovely room with everything that we needed . We prefer to stay in family run hotels as find the service to be friendly and always helpful when needing local knowledge . Biked into the old town as owners have free bikes which was fantastic only took ten mins going...

Family Avanzi, owns and operates since 1960 Mauro Hotel Restaurant, located at the foot of the peninsula of Sirmione on Lake Garda. The hotel, completely renovated, offers a cozy, bright dining room, hall, living room with TV , bar, lift, relax and gardens, 29 rooms with private bathrooms, some with balcony, television, telephone, air conditioning, hairdryer, safe and some with internet connection.In the lounge, Internet Point.Bordering the hotel we have 4 tennis courts and a few miles municipal golf courses and horseback riding. Our food is regional, we offer a choice of 3 meal menu, breakfast buffet with croissants and cakes made by our chef who is attentive to all types of diets, particularly diets celiac disease. The service is friendly, family, staff is able to suggest the best pairings with local wines. To our clients we also offer a welcome cocktail and a theme evening per week.We are located in a quiet area 200 meters from the lake, just steps from the spa Virgil, by the Centre and the Church. The theme parks: Gardaland, Moviland, Aquaparadise, Caneva, Zoo Safari Park Sigurtà from 12 to 20 km away . The city of cultural and architectural interest as, Brescia, Verona, Mantua 30 km, while the Italian Vittoriale, the home of Gabriele D'Annunzio is 20 km. Pets accepted.
