The hotel is right by the lake and our room had the most amazing view of both the lake and Como town. You can reach to the town by only 2 minutes walking, where you can take the ferry to visit the other towns in the lake. The funicular to Brunate is just next to the hotel. The hotel also... More

Stayed here 1 night while visiting the lake. The hotel is right on the water so perfect location. The hotel is small and quite simple but very clean and had all the basics you would need. You can have breakfast in the terrace overlooking the lake. There are many restaurants around and its a short 5-10 minute walk to the... More

If you are lucky enough to have a room with a balcony overlooking the lake the vista would be magnificent! Unfortunately we didn't, but got to enjoy the lake view every morning at breakfast, which was fairly basic with great coffee! Our room was very tiny with little room for suitcases! The bathroom was also tiny. However the hotel was... More

Hotel Marcos is a small family run hotel adjacent to the Como Town promenade. It has lake facing rooms and street facing rooms. We were late booking so had a street facing room.Rooms were small but functional however the en suite bathroom was large with a really good shower and a door out to a tiny shared balcony. Breakfast was excellent and... More

Me and my family spent unfortunately only one night here and it was just perfect. I wish we could stay more. We had a room with a lake view and the scenery was just amazing. We had a triple room, it wasn't big but if you think about the room spaces in the big cities in Italy and in France... More

We stayed in this hotel on our way to Italy. I preferred to stay in Italy from a cost perspective but also because it is more welcoming than Switzerland. Hotel Marco's seemed ideal. It is on Lake Como and the reviews were good. However we were not impressed. There is no lift in the hotel so you need to heave... More

I visited the hotel for two nights in December and it was fairly quiet in Como. The hotel is perfectly located on the lake and close to the water taxis and town. I ate in the hotel restaurant both nights and the food was good and reasonably priced. I loved the view on the lake and pier from my room... More

Lovely family run hotel in a super location. Very friendly staff in the hotel and the restaurant. Breakfast was plentiful and very nice. Towels and sheets changed every day. We chose this hotel because of its location for the ferries and the town of como, no complaints at all about the service and price. Only negative is that you could... More

Good breakfast and friendly staff. We were here in Spring and the room was overheated - there's no way to control the warmth as the bathroom hot water pipes/ services run through the floor. Nights are stuffy. Location is good, a decent walk to the city centre and a very short walk to the furnicolore. I thought it was a... More
