My wife and I stayed for 2 nights. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and modern. It is about a 10 min walk from Como station and only about 10 mins walk to the town centre. The hotel has wonderful old features incorporated in the design. The breakfast was very enjoyable. There is a great little... More

We stayed one night. Location was excellent, just a few blocks from the train station... It was close to excellent food and close enough to the downtown. The breakfast was really good and really good service at be front desk and staff! We enjoyed our stay tremendously.

This is an easy walk from either train station, located on a quiet side street. The rooms are very modern & clean. The staff was friendly & helpful, even if we didn't speak Italian. On the same side street were a few restaurants. A block away was a grocery. And a short walk got us to Lake Como and their... More

We wish the management would take customers requests a little more seriously. We asked for a quieter room when booking 6 months ahead for our special occasions, but ended it up with a room (305) directly facing the elevator door plus heavy foot traffic on granite staircase, horrendously noisy. we asked for a change of room but been turned down.... Dear Mr Cheung, Thank you for your comment. We're sorry to read what you wrote about the room and the front desk staff. You booked through our website one room with a queen size bed, we only have three rooms like this one in the hotel and they face on the street and are near the elevator. Anyway if you... More

What a lovely hotel and friendly, helpful staff! Located down a cobbled street within easy walking distance of the lake and town with restaurants and shops nearby. Staff were extremely helpful and breakfast was good and adequate. Our room was on the ground floor with a very small terrace - the only downside w the size of our room which... More

Check in was pleasant. The man on reception was very helpful and really tried hard to help in any way he could. Room was spacious and very nicely fitted out. We had a room facing the rear, and I can see that a front facing room would be a bit noisy as the street is cobbled and quite busy at... More

Had two nights here and it was a good place to stay. It is a boutique hotel on a cobblestone street. Very nice and comfortable inside, breakfast was good and the wifi signal strong. We ended up staying on the ground floor behind the lobby and it was a good choice. We just wheeled our bags straight through. Other reviewers... More

We arrived in Como on their national holiday and the city was teeming with people. The Borgo Antico was a wonderful, calm place within walking distance to all the action ( the lake front and the old town ). At first we thought that the room had a lot of street noise but after shutting an open window it was... More

We stayed at the Borgo Antico Hotel for 2 nights only and it was perfect for the location. The station is close by and so is the ferry. We had dinner at a restaurant in the same road that was very good and not overcrowded with tourists! The breakfasts were great with a lot of variety with helpful and friendly... More

We found it quite difficult to find a nice hotel at a reasonable price in Como for our mini honeymoon in May but then came across this gem. We stayed here for two nights and whilst not cheap as such it was good value for money (bed & breakfast). The hotel is in walking distance from all attractions, cute and... More
