We booked through booking.com for a very good price for a supreme room with lake view. The view was great and the house keeper was great, but the room needs a make over. The breakfast was excellent and included. Some how we picked up wifi in the room at no cost, which was a plus. No one is too forthcoming... more

The Barchetta Hotel is located virtually on the waterfront..the only thing between the hotel and the waterfront is a very busy road and a large piazza (which is very well lit at night and when we were there it was frequented by very few people). We stayed in this hotel 8 years ago and had a good experience. Unfortunately, things changed since. Some of the staff is very poorly trained. This hotel is in a great location, the staff is friendly & the rooms are fine. I definitely recommend spending extra to get a lake view room with a terrace. My room was small (as expected), but clean & the bed was comfortable. Walking distance to everything. I like this hotel. more
