I have stayed at Giardinetto for many years every summer and find them incredibly friendly and helpful. A great bargain in Belagio, one of the most beautiful places in this world. There is a beautiful garden which is shown in the picture accurately.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. You get what you pay for. Old man running the place, shouting at what seems to be his daugther who is the manager. Sweet and friendly staff. Beds are not good. Rooms are ok, and clean. There creditcard machine didnt work, and they did not really seem interested in having it fixed. So... More

Albergo Giardinetto is a really Italian albergo with polished stone floors, beautifully clean bathrooms, simple and uncluttered rooms and the sound of birds. The rooms face onto the wonderful garden where you can enjoy the grapevine, jasmine etc.. The church square is 'due minuti' distance so you can have your first cappuccino there at the café bar, or you can... More

Stayed here six years ago and thought it was fine and so returned as it was cheap. This time being a bit older, I found it to be incredibly basic. It is a lot cheaper than the hotels, but after night 2 I found a B&B (Barchetta) which was almost the same price with breakfast included as well as a... More

+ Reasonable room rates (especially compared to other options in Bellagio) + Our room - room 20 - had a small balcony where you could glimpse the lake over the houses + Friendly owners + Quiet location, 5-10mins uphill from the lakeside, plenty of shops and eating options nearby - Room became quite hot as the sun shone directly in... This is a good budget hotel, although it is not fancy at all. I had a single room that is just a bed, shower, toilet, sink and wardrobe, but it was clean and functional. For the price I didn’t expect air conditioning so the heat wave in Bellagio while I was there kept me out of the room during the... More

Granted, this was probably the cheapest place in Bellagio. The rooms were simple but very clean. I had the single, which was very small. My friends had a double facing the courtyard. The family that runs the place had some very loud arguments with the young girl of the family really carrying on. It was very disruptive to their stay.... More

If you are looking for a nice, clean and inexpensive hotel in Bellagio, then this is it! There is nothing flash about this family run hotel, just very simple, but it does boast a great location within Bellagio, close to shops, restaurants and ferry. When I say close, Im talking about 50 metres to shops/ restaurants and 250 metres down... More

We first stayed at the Albergo Giardinetto in September 1974. It was a cooler season than usual and in the mornings we delighted in holding the large cups of coffee with additional heated milk in a little pitcher nearby. I remember the hollow breakfast rolls which I believe are still served along with butter and jam. We share many fond... More

I stayed for six nights and the rate was by far more reasonable than other hotels in the area. I would recommend this hotel whether travelling solo or with someone. The staff is friendly and helpful but not in your face, they are accommodating and go out of their way to ensure you’re comfortable. There is a nice vine covered... More
