We recently stayed at Hotel Suisse after reserving from the limited selections available in Bellagio due to closings in the December off-season. I'll preface my review by setting the stage in describing what travels we underwent in the preceding 24 hours: A connecting flight from Fort Lauderdale to Newark, an overnight flight to Milan followed by a 30 minute wait... We visited this hotel dec 2014, during the quiet tourist time for Bellagio. We were told by the hotel that the busy time is from April to October. We happened to be the only ones staying at the hotel during our stay. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was an older traditional Italian hotel, situated right... More

We travelled from Milan to Bellagio, about an hours drive. We were given directions and instructions on how to enter the Historical Center and they were very easy to follow. We had booked for 2 nights originally and closer to our trip I added another night. They were very accommodating with our night change but as the Lake View room... More

We visited Lake Como in the off season (November) and wanted a place which was inexpensive and central to the few things that might be open and close to the ferry and the lake. Hotel Suisse met our needs. We were in Room 6 which opened out onto the balcony and the beautiful view. The room and bathroom were sparse... More

This is our third trip to this hotel in Bellagio. Great views and nice rooms. Nothing real fancy but nice. NO LIFT....we were on the 3rd floor (4th floor in the U.S.)....Bellagio is just a quite town to relax in and enjoy some views and meals. If you are there on a weekend, they sometimes have a four piece band... More

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Suisse in Bellagio, Italy for three days. First let me say that the Hotel Staff were just about the nicest accommodating people you could hope to meet. They were very outgoing and helpful in every way. The view from the waterfront rooms is splendid. Our room was on the third floor and we... More

Not easy to find good service, fine food at a reasonable price in Bellagio but here met our needs. Friendly staff found us a table outside as the weather was warm and we wanted to see the street passing by. English speaking staff made us feel welcome but beware of the offer of truffle (suggested by waitress) at €20 we... More

You will have to pay a daily parking charge of 7.5-10 euros if you park in front of suisse - so add that cost to ur total bill. The positives 1 - right on Lake Como - no one can boast of a better view - similar yes, but not better. 2 - great hostess, nice people to serve breakfast.... More

We booked directly with the hotel and was told about an apartment they have beside the hotel. We got it because we couldn't find any hotel in Bellagio. It turned out that the apartment is owned by a friend of the owner and the hotel manages it for them. The apartment is several flights of stairs up to the side... More

We stayed there for 3 nights. Upon arriving, we noticed that the reception desk is just a tiny podium at the back of the restaurant. Then we found out that there is no elevator in this hotel. So, if you are carrying heavy luggage and cannot lift them up a few flight of stairs, I would not recommend staying there.... More
