We stayed here a month back in one of the rooms with terrace. The view from terrace is out of the world - especially sunsets. Even if we paid well for the room, the rooms are just medium sized but then bellagio is an expensive place. Overall would recommend this hotel as it is right at the middle of city... More

We stayed only two nights at the Hotel Metropole. Wish we could have stayed longer!! The position of the hotel gives it the best waterfront position for al fresco dining, and the views from every room facing the lake are stellar. The rooms are clean and bright, the staff is ULTRA friendly and helpful, and the bathroom towels are bath... More

We spent three nights at the Hotel Metropole in September. This is a really good hotel, run under the stern all-seeing eye of the manager/owner who obviously takes great pride in her hotel. It’s an old building but has aged fairly gracefully considering its waterfront position and exposure to the elements. Our room had a balcony facing directly over the... More

We stayed just two nights in October 2014. The weather was perfect and so was the view from our balcony. The staff at the hotel was very helpful. Enjoyed our breakfast and ate it sitting outside looking at the lake. We had a car and parking was a little problem but then we got it all figured out and it... More

Great view, excellent location , clean and nice rooms Good breakfast. In the center of bellagio, a walking distance from the boat ferry , the cathedral and the town main attractions. Nice staff . The restaurant is about average .

We spent 5 nights here as our home base for exploring the Lake District and couldn't have been more pleased! The hotel location is perfect for wandering thru town, for catching the ferry, for people watching, for starting the day with a good breakfast, for relaxing on the terrace patio, and for getting a good night sleep. It was well... More

The rooms were beautiful the restaurant good. This was an off season stay for Lake Como but the facility was up to snuff and the staff were terrifically helpful. It's a compact classic European vacation hotel in a very densely populated spot - Bellagio, Italy. Perfect access to the lake and all its entertainments.

This gem of a hotel offers the best position in Bellagio, being the only hotel that is literally right on the lakeside, and placed in the middle of the stylish promenade offering... More

My husband and I spent three nights in Room 225 at the Metropole Hotel. Room 225 is small and comfortable, with a good amount of closet space for a room of its size. The mattress is firm. The (older style) bathroom is also small. The balcony has views of Lake Como. The front desk staff were polite and friendly. They... More

Yes this was a bit more expensive but the hotel lived up to it's reputation for being a classic hotel on the lake. It made you feel special. We had a lake side balcony room which is a must if you are in Bellagio. Breakfast menu was extensive served on terrace - also provided excellent meals at night in a... More
